Hey!! Another random interjection from me -- i installed the cloud set, it looks freaking amazing. But the clouds are kinda covering up stuff -- have you considered adding a parameter setting to change their opacity?
Thanks for your idea, but sorry I don't think that possible unless each cloud was redrawn the different percentages.
Cheers

for details.
I been using vehicles from the my Car Parks but wonder if anyone would like to change their colours to look more like racing cars.
I can upload the template to the cars here if any one would like to try. Or maybe some one has already made some.
Cheers

If you or any one else like something added to the car tracks let me know and see if possible to add.
Tomorrow (Monday) hope to work on The Pitts from a rear view angle.

Thanks .. I having a break trying to do the stadiums from behind as having problem getting the aligned. Hope to try again in a day or 2.
In mean time fiddling with my Industry set and then I decided to make some Secondary Industry objects. One idea leads to another
Looking at making different sizes and then we can make a industry estate in our games and I also plan to make the proper Industries as well.
At moment I making about 1/2 dozen 3x3 sizes and then I do some 2x3 a few 2x2 and the odd larger one.
Check out my Industry set last entry .. an aerial view of a Industry Estate and like to try do something similar.

I love everything industry-related and these look great
Any plans to make some that look a bit older, which would blend in better with a 1950s or earlier game? Like brick walls and corrugated iron roofs?
I vaguely recall that in Sydney near the Harbour Bridge there are such old-style warehouses as in the attached picture, but it has been a while.
Also, if you allow some advertising (and I am not related to the owner/operator) - the Lord Nelson Brewery and pub in that area is one of the finest places I have been to in Australia, highly recommended:

Yep.
The aerial view of secondary industries I uploaded over in my Industry forum shows some old and new roofs so intend to do similar. Some of our towns pre 1950 we can build the older style .. then later expand of Industrial area with some new ones so can have both.
My future plan be similar to the industry set that Quast65 and I built called OTIS where your industry starts as 1 tile and you build the rest. But I like to start with a small building might be one of those 3x3 ones shown above or a bit smaller. Have just a few and some just accepts all cargoes related to making GOODS and have a few just to accept cargoes related to making FOOD. Then players can add to these buildings.

I did some old railway buildings some time ago and these would be good for other Industrys as well.

Plan do other styles like in your image.
My biggest problem is time .. I don't get as much time at the computer like I used to .. a lot to do with old age.
But we shall see what can be done.

They could be a nice idea too .. Maybe do some 1 per tile and if another set with 2 per tile.
I already got caravans and containers so it just a new paint hob to some of those. Probably could do some containers with out wheels as offices as well.
Also wonder how Industry pieces to sell Farm Machinery, trucks and bulldozers would look.
This image is a set I started to work on this morning. Was going to make it a 3x3 but I think I change my mind and make them 1x1 pieces so player can design there own and as large as they want. Some of the machinery credit to FIRS, CHIPS and ISR.

I still like this concept a lot. Maybe a building instead of a empty tile would indeed be helpful to find the industries, in particular for more novel players.
Personally, I'd prefer to have a single (1x1) tile building instead of the 3x3 ones and an old one, so you can either expand around it as the years progress or maybe later "hide" with a more modern one as an overlap?

Yes, these are very nice - if they could be separate as 1x1 in a set and then maybe with a bit of variability on the visible (front left and right) side would be perfect. The roofs are great - better than the uniform ones on the new

I thought of that but those with slanted roofs hard to make joining pieces (or at least I not figure out how yet) especially if making large sheds 2x2 and bigger. The flat roof ones that fridaemon and I did for warehouses was easier.

I do have templates of single ones of these so should be able to add the as 1x1 tiles.

Yes it would be better if it was customizable to everyone's needs.

But I think this is a bit too far off from the original topic - unless: want about a brewery in the set

Been fiddling with Farm Machinery and Construction Equipment Sale Yards.
These are for sale yards where they sell this machinery. Still need to do some buildings to go with these and also hope to do a truck sale yard as well.

I going to giving The Pits.
Did some Pits from the back so can use with the stadiums.
The 1st 2 rows don't have cars and the next to have random normal cars and some with racing cars in the sheds. Just cycle through them to find what car suits your race tracks.

This months screenshot competition has only a week to go so hope you find enough objects in my sets to design a nice track so you can enter the competition.

As mentioned a few posts back about making the secondary industry buildings 1x1 sizes so acn build to our own design.
The sloped roof had me stumped for a few days how to make these and came up with this idea.
Make the pieces like these.

- Lego Pieces.png (6.07 KiB) Viewed 3910 times
And then allow the pieces to be joined like these.

- Lego Pieces Joined.png (5.67 KiB) Viewed 3910 times
Could make several with doors and windows on them as well as have some blank.
With this design could make some with grey roofing iron and roof iron walls like in the older days, and could make some with brick walls.
Just like having your own lego set.
These I hope to work on over the weekend when get chance.

Auz Industry Objects
Had to create a new object set called
Auz Industry Objects Add Ons
because the other set is almost full.
The new sets has Secondary Industries buildings and additions.
The 3x3 buidlings I did a few days back I removed them from Auz Industry Objects and placed them in the new set as intend to make more.
Also in this set are Farm Machinery and Construction Equipment Sale Yards (see a few posts back)
and the secondary industry buildings 1x1 sizes as shown in the last post.
The roof is designed so can build up to 4 tiles wide and also some with overlap roofs so can built at a angle like in this image.

- Secondary Industry Buildings.png (18.8 KiB) Viewed 3891 times
The overlap pieces look like these. (Also a set with skylights).

There are some cargo loading doors and awnings. These just a sample as hope to make several different types with cargo loading areas and office. Once I get these finished will make some older looking buildings.
Would you like to try what I done so far?

Very nice!
For the loading bays, a version with closed garagedoors (or also one open, one closed) would be nice.
