Try beginning with cargoes that have a high payoff rate, like Oil. Do trains that are 5 to 7 squares long, and use the full-load order. After you got few Oil Well connections running, start going for cargoes like Rubber, Copper Ore and haul them. Water is also a very lucrative choice if it is avaible in abundance(though do shorter trains in case of water, and try using the cheapest engine possible. Something like 3 or 4 squares lenght trains should do). Also make sure your connections aren't too short, trains are more worth it on longer routes.

Tell you what, when you begin your next tropic refurbishment set game, and find yourself backed in a corner you can't get out of, send me the savegame, and i'll help you start off. :wink:

Well, I'm up to my neck in school work currently, but I'll say by April you'll perhaps see some progress. :wink:

I just love this set too much to see it die, or atleast stalled.

t'is a lovely set, i played a couple of quality games with it. for the first time ever i just started to build gigantic freight transports, because of those mammoth-steamers. brilliance. :)
