Great!
Don't you want to try the train station buildings? The town hall, the church, the square with the fountain...
In a historical sense?
Have a nice day
And to start off the historic buildings, here's a Baltimore building!

Looking for ideas on what to do next
Something that I have been dreaming of is the main entrance of Schiphol Airport (near Amsterdam in The Netherlands, one of the largest air-hubs in Europe).
Especially since you had those sunken parks, as it should fit against an elevated/higher road.
The situation is this:

- Example1119.png (1.63 MiB) Viewed 3199 times
And I "translated" that into OpenTTD like this to show what is missing (also all of the offices/hotels):

- Example1120.png (232.06 KiB) Viewed 3199 times
The roof of the entrance is actually grass/moss and slopes upwards to the facade, it just looks a bit dry in the first picture

The entrance itself has a nice facade, that hopefully shows up good in OpenTTD perspective:

Maybe there is something you can do

Well it'd be quite large, so maybe a modular type building would work, But i'd be happy to try it! Prolly won't be able to code it though since I only got a few limited slots left in the current volume and they're all 1x1s

Now that i think of it actually, maybe I could fit some of the pieces inside 2x1/1x2 slots? i got 6 more free. The rest could be fille din with fridaemon's elevated truck ramps in his FO pack, i think it's in the trucks and busses section?

Not really, the actual building/entrance would fit on a 2x2:

- Example1121.png (91.07 KiB) Viewed 3073 times
The 3 tiles to the right of that can be used by 1x1's to cover up the wall of the foundation.
For example like the shops-in-wall objects that Fridaemon has made, howerver maybe a little less "busy/filled" on the plaza's.

- Example1122.png (82.87 KiB) Viewed 3073 times
Or with the I *heart emoji* Amsterdam sign (or various other signs that are nowadays in loads of major cities) Or even a fun I *heart emoji* OpenTTD-logo

With regards to the other buildings (offices/hotels), that is just to give you an architectual idea/suggestion. So, not too high rise as most of your current artwork.

Nice!
Do you think it would be possible to build similar buildings like the ones in this square?

Or a train station building like that?

I understand that it must be difficult. But that would be really cool
Have a nice day

I always appreciate suggestions! I'd be happy to make those offices on the side, could fit in a 2x1/3x1 possibly.

This could be good! it'd take up a lot of 1x1 slots which would be nice, and it could go towards a possible w2w URBEX volume
Anyhow, on the topic of historic buildings, i finished this one last night. Enjoy!

Finished the first bit of the complex, a 3x2 object which acts as that middle building. Could work as well as a hospital. This does mean that the airport would need to be a bit wider, but it came out alright when i tried it. Gonna do that rotated hotel next near the lower section of the bit. cheers

And one more to finish tonight.

I'll see if i can code these up tomorrow, then make a few last 2x1/1x2s, before moving onto 1x1 towers.

An extra two, to make the last thin skyscrapers. I'll see if I can make 2 more highrises, before starting on midrise buildings.

Enjoying your work! Will need to try a few out on my next game. I appreciate the less fancy skyscrapers… Calgary has a few ‘filler’ buildings.

Poke around on Google earth and see if any catch you eye!

And for the person who suggested I make a building from Calgary, the Suncor energy center. As well as the Steinway tower from NYC. One last building then I should be able to put forward a release for the skyscraper part of the GRF.
Also, no longer am I going to publish these in separate volumes, I've decided to continuously update a single GRF from now on. Cheers

If you are still looking for inspiration for 1x1 structures, may I suggest the Euromast in Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Wow! That looks incredible and exactly like the real deal. Serious talent you have here. Looking forward to the release. Might nudge me to get a NARS game going!
Thanks for the Calgary addition.
