Some more german trains:

Image
This one runs between Munich and Oberstdorf, some 120 km west of Munich. It's operated by a private company. The locomotive is brand-new and is simular to class 2016 of the Austrian Railways. 2016 will be included in MB's TTD-Alpine-Set, BTW.

Image
Here's a triple-headed train. The carriages - used to transport new BMWs - were empty actually, as this is the return working from Italy to the factories in Germany. But there were two additional locos which had to go the same way, so... 8)

England is said to be the birth place of the railways, and now it has the crappiest worst looking trains out of the EU in my opinion.

Don't worry, the EU expansion will change that soon enough
And besides, 3214317E1.jpg is not a bad looking train at all. You should see our night trains

You don't need to convert photos to PNG - that's what JPG was designed for - you gt the general picture but lose the details.

last three

I plan to take some pictures of the local rail yard and local trains. The town converted the old CN round house into a public works building. But the old round about platform is still intact. Maybe even some pictures of the old CN / Via rail station that we have in twon, it was recently restored. ;)
