I agree that the Dutch train set is one of the best and I often use it even for other locations. Please tell me what
programs you are using to get such clear and close-up screen shots, they are much better than anything I have
been able to get. I hope you don't find my artwork an insult to the Netherlands, it's intended to be a compliment.
Netherlands Govt RR flag.png
check the settings, maybe you get .jpg images, that tend to be more blurry then .png in this game (8bpp or 32bpp)

They always look a bit too modern. Perhaps in the 70s and onwards I'll start replacing these ones with Dutch Stations.

Here's another, as the country's first electric train - a Blokkendoos with extra carriage - loads at Maarssen for the short run to Utrecht, while another 3900 on express duties thunders past on the main line.

By coincidence, the date on the clock is 15 May 1940; a dark day for the real Netherlands...

Nice shots. Maybe try to shot the trains in pause with a steam cloud. It will need some good timing but is possible.

That will not look too good with the current versions of the new trainset, as especially MUs smoke from every single vehicle part at the moment.

Anyways, nice screenshots!

Oddly, Roodeschool got stuck in my mind since I visited it, so indirectly, the screenshot is indeed loosely based upon it. Funny you were able to loosely recognize it :P

I think it is because of the arriva DMU and the freight track next to one platform.

Second one could be the schiphollijn between Hoofdorp and nieuw vennep, around 1996
