Well done!
The only thing I miss, is that you can see Ships and the River only, when you have a big resolution available...

PS: We had Tropical in TransportTycoonDeluxe ;-)

It's about time to have a TOYLAND one. ;-)

Currently there have been two suggestions. Submissions may be continued to be submitted till mid February. From time to time I'll update the preview of current submissions on this page. Further submissions can be made by simply adding your title game suggestion in the form of a savegame to this thread.

Nice screen!

I did get a warning:

Code: Select all

dbg: [ai] The savegame has an AI by the name 'TownCars', version 4 which is no longer available.
dbg: [ai] A random other AI will be loaded in its place.
Something to check :)

Sorry I can't find it...

Looked at the preview screens. at 1024x800 (or whatever) you can see the 'fiddle yard'...

I'll go and fix it, if that's OK.

Watch this space.

EDIT: Done!

@planetmaker: The title screen that i made that is on your page is the outdated one, could you please update it?

BTW, does anyone here use anything bigger than a a 1920x1200 screen? Just curious...

Finally, is there a deadline date?

Thanks,
Jake

I think it's time for a tropical titlegame once again. Lush rainforest, mountaineous, some desert, seas... I can see it all in my head perfectly. Now just to get the right map ;)

Very nice one! Could you please add some busses? And please change a bit the interval of the ships.
They are overlapping... Might not be a good presentation ;)

So, how shall I start ... well, HI to everyone! :)

Ok, that's my first post here, until today I was only active on german TTD-Fanpages ... however.

I'm here to present you my suggestion.
My Idea is to show not to much features in the Mainmenu. Especially new players shall only see what they can build at the beginning of the game ... everything else, they have to find out by themselves.

Now, I could write a list of the things you can see or explore in my opntitle-game.
Or I could just give you the game and you can explore it yourselves. This is quiet easier, isn't it?
I hope you like it.

And I hope there aren't to much spelling or grammar mistakes ...

Welcome to the forums.

One thing that worries me in your game is that the upper left corner is somewhat empty.
People with lower resolution screens will only see that part, and thus miss all the fun at the bottom right.

Today I gathered again all submissions posted here so far and updated the website which shows them all.

I'd like to remind again, that submissions are still accepted, the deadline will be 14th February, so about a mere three weeks :-) I'd like to encourage those who started or announced participation to continue with their game and then show the result here, too. Please feel free to submit your own (better ;-) ) savegame here and comment on the existing entries so that they might get updates by their authors in order to allow us to pick from the best possible savegame ever :-)

EDIT: could you (for my convenience of updating the screenshots and collecting the current versions) indicate if a savegame attached is deprecated (or remove that completely) and only add one savegame per posting? It's easy to miss some or add old ones otherwise ;-)

Cheers,
pm

So here is my title game "Mountain ridge" that I previously posted a screenshot of. I've added a little bit more activity at the lower right and top left corners.

Edit: I've tweaked the start time of the savegame and uploaded a new version (version 8 ).

Not that I have a submission, but I think a Tropic game would be nice since 1.0 uses the Artic. I think the desert + grass + water would make a nice scene.
