Favourite font?

Orkney Islands Council adopted a Comic Sans-alike font for the Education Department a few years ago. It hurts us, precious:

Reminds me exactly of the font that we used in kids storybooks.

The Singapore Land Transport Authority has quite a distinctive font public transport.

(World Trade Centre station was renamed to HarbourFront station for obvious reasons.)

I use Times and/or Computer Modern for scientific texts. Presentations go in Helvetica, for the sake of legibility.
If I would write any serious texts, I would use either Times or Palatino. All in LaTeX of course, because I like the superior quality of its output.

For not-to-be-printed texts, e.g., texts that appear on screen, I usually don't care as long as it is legible.
