Any ideas why ?
If tour behind a coreperate or school firewall it won't let you download them through the installer. You will, unfortunately, have to download them seprately or try at home.
Do you have any hard evidence that is the cause? The installer uses HTTP to download packs so unless the openttd website is blocked by that firewall.

Is this a home install? Or are you testing it at a college/workplace?

This is a home install. And i have played openttd on this comp before.

And i have tried to shut my firewall off and i dont use a router.

Is it possible that we will see screenshots similar to this :

when the final version will be available ? :D

The not being able to download via the installer problem should've been fixed now.

Revision of what? If you mean trunk: none, if you mean the 1.0 branch: none, if you mean the 1.0.0-beta3 tag: any recent revision, including HEAD.

Just made some work in the translator. Now I see just lots of pending strings. Do I need to commit these by myself (like in old WebTranslator2 days)? If so, I can't figure out how to do it. I haven't been translating for a while... (:

No. Changes are automatically committed about 15 minutes before the nightly runs. The problem with WT2 was that lots of people forgot to commit their strings and thus they did a lot of work but it never ended up in OpenTTD.

Do you get a 404 on that link? Or a link on the page that that link links to? The address that you have posted works from here.
