yes, I completely agree. Me and dinges had come to an agreement and he was starting to add my designs to his when the server 'failed'

Oh, that is excellent news. That way we will get the "best of the best" combined effort, rather than two warring versions.

So your set includes his redrawn Concorde with the dipping-nose?

Probably I'll wait to install it until a little later, I tend to take a pass on the first few versions of things and only start playing with the later revisions. I don't have as much time to play TTD as I'd like, you see...

The next thing I test will most likely be the long vehicles, as soon as a Patch version which supports smoother turning corners is available. That's well up on the to-do list, so it should be shortly. By the time that's done and I'm playing with it, your complete planeset will probably be ready. That will be great, it's always bugged me that the names are wrong, but the correct-names .DAT file cannot coexist with MB's trainsets.

What do you think of this (another product of my imagination)

Hmmm...
Very strange...
Probably will look better at one of the diagonal angles (all graphics do), but that's harder to draw.
Overall: Go for it!

Hey, it's better looking than many of the original futuristic aircraft.

here is an improved ATN Addar. The only change will be the colour of the wings before its release on Friday/Saturday next week.

Looks better lighter - good work

thanks. It looks much better now. All I need to change are the colours of the wings and the top wing needs to be thinner to match the bottom one.

I fixed up a new file I had in the archive for a long time now, here it is.

you can now delete the vehicles.dat suplyed by scottishasttdx and install this one, later this evening/week will follow the statistics and graphics.

It is compatible with both Win and DOS version off TTD.

I won't add this to my site, couse it's only a temp file

I haven't tested it yet, so report any bugs you might encounter.

EDIT: Look 2 posts later for file please

Thanks

@ scottishasttdx

BTW if:

-Straight winged plane´s max speed is 65% of speed of sound
-Normal wings allow 80-85%
-Delta wings allow more than speed of sound

-What is ATN Addar´s max speed????????????????????
(Does there exist opposite direction wings)

-And i´d like to do one of these:

-Tupolev TU-144
-Lockheed
-?????????? (lockheed´s competitor in offering contest)

-Say which :?

Well, because I'm almost ready to start a Russian plane set, the Tu-144 would be the best.

The ATN addar can fly at 1600mph, reversed wing planes can stay more stable at higher speeds than delta wings, with more lift thrown in too.
