Is it intentional, that there are some files uploded, but there are still all zeros on the main screen?

Done, the add-file title input now scales correctly in IE.Jupix wrote:I'll switch to one of the older methods of identification for that input in order to accomodate IE.
OK, done.Could you please change the color of the headings in this thread? Not everybody uses the default-style!

Done! You can now register againCan You restart my account?
There are 6 files in the database, all in the Ground section, and that section lists 6 files in the index. Seems to be working as intendedIs it intentional, that there are some files uploded, but there are still all zeros on the main screen?

I tried to register an account on the repo, but something went wrong and now I can't activate my account
. So can you please activate or restart it?

Re: [32bpp] File repository - public release, upload your stuff!

You might want to ensure people are sending referer information between pages. If that's turned off then I'd imagine the activation link won't happen, though that depends if you're using GET or POST of course. Just a thought.
Re: [32bpp] File repository - public release, upload your stuff!
GETting or POSTing what exactly? Everything is POSTed up until the PM part, then the activation key is GETted at the repo. Anyway, neither requires any referer information.

If this is to become in some way semi-official, then I (as in tt-forums) would I'm sure be able to offer more reliable hosting. Indeed, there is/was some web space that I was hosting dedicated to 32bpp graphics for OpenTTD, but I don't think it ever got properly used.

That occured to me after I posted but I was too lazy to correct myself. What I get for posting when tired.Jupix wrote:GETting or POSTing what exactly? Everything is POSTed up until the PM part, then the activation key is GETted at the repo. Anyway, neither requires any referer information.

Maybe this thread should be made sticky and the "organising sprites" should be un-stickied.
Owen thanks. Personally I'd suggest giving it a little while longer at its current home to see how it works out before bothering you with stuff.

That would be nice.Moriarty wrote: Maybe this thread should be made sticky and the "organising sprites" should be un-stickied.

Re: [32bpp] File repository - public release, upload your stuff!
So in anticipation of a future need, I have implemented a fork feature which allows anyone to easily create a fork of a file entry.
Say, a WIP project dies and the author is MIA. With this feature you can fork the original work and the work will now be under active ownership again, leaving the original work available for inspection. Or, there is simply a need to fork something, be it a difference of opinion in how something should look, or whatever.
A fork can be created by enabling editing mode, selecting a file and in file view, clicking the fork icon on the right.
All forks are tied to their original files behind the scenes: whatever the name of either file may one day become, forks can be traced to their parent files. I am looking into implementing a graphical tree representation for these file relations.

Why isn't this a sticky topic?
Re: [32bpp] File repository - public release, upload your stuff!
Great site you've got going on! I have a problem though, I've registered the username petert on the site, but I cannot log in. Could you clear the username so that I can re-register?
Re: [32bpp] File repository - public release, upload your stuff!
^ Done.
Collectively, sorry for being inactive for a long time - been busy with school and all the e-mails regarding PM's regarding the repo have gone unnoticed as they went into my spam mailbox.
Repo has been up and running the whole time though! And I'll have a look at changing my e-mail address to one that gets read.

Sorry, it still doesn't work. When trying to register I get this:
Jupix.info wrote:This username has already been input into the database. If you are new to the site, try another username. If you feel your nickname has been taken over, file a complaint at the forums and the incident will get taken a look at. If you have tried, and failed, to register and activate this account and were retrying to activate it, please be advised this is not possible. Prod Jupix at the forums to manually activate your account and your account will be activated asap.
