With the patch you can deny towns to build roads, so this way they can't grow themselves unless I place some roads for them.
Besides there is no more room left for any city to grow anyway.

Rob, can you upload that map somewhere? I imagine it's going to be pretty big, but I'd love to see it!

Nice scenario of Zeeland you have there, Rob! Do you have a link to the original scenario or can you upload it?

I have posted that already somewhere on the forums.
Let me see if I can find it.
Ah yes here it is.

BTW, I didn't make that scenario, I only found it on the net, somewhere.

That's a lot smaller than I imagined it would be... You really spent 8000 years on that?

I doubt it. That would have required starting in 543, something that TTDPatch does not support.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

You could dig up peaces of unused sea for more network building. :P

As you can see on the screenshot, I didn't build much in the three visible years that you can see. This is true for a LOT of years. I enjoy to watch all my trains running around, waiting for each other and then resume their way, without ever crashing into one another. I barely have to intervene to keep all trains running. I have 833 trains, which is quite a lot for such a small world. The only thing I do build is to optimize some parts of my network even more, and to try out some new patch features when and if they are introduced. :D

And as DaleStan already stated I started in 1921, which means I have played 6641 years at this very moment. In real life that accumulates up to at least three years.
