the sign faceing the driver looks lopsided, as if one of the bolts holding up has broken and it's rotated on the other one.
The white line on it seems too steep.

You have the signs at wrong angle.. See the one'way signs for UK roadset thread too... I have one picture there too ;P

Now try one in the middle of the track AND facing the driver

Thank you very much for those replies, I'll give it a try in the next few days...
but this is my first try to draw something and that sign in the drivers direction is
really though for me but I'm not giving up I'll go on and on till I'm (and you forum
fellars) are fully satisfied with this...

If you are using an app like
GIMP then you can just draw it normally (i.e. like you have done) then use a skew tool to skew the image so it appears as if it is facing the vehicle.

Here we are again,
I've kept all your advise in the back of my head an started to work on the sign facing the driver.
But as I said before it's not so easy to create this angle (for me).
You can see the 4 tries in one attachement that I've made so far, so you can see the difference.
But I must say that the visability seems to be dissapearing, you can't almost see what sign that it is.
It looses some of it's shape, and that's in fact as normal cause in real life the angle of a sign
changes the shape aswell, but I wonder (if someone should ever code this) if the players who didn't follow this subject
still know what they're seeing?!
Edit: maybe a bit more red at the bottom of the forth try???

In this next attachment I've made a second version of the barricade, I've made the horizontal bars
1 pixel thicker and I've added a vertical bar which supports the barricade so it doesn't fall over...
This is just an other test this due to the fact that the angle of the sign wasn't that easy to create.

Well, the tracks under the bars seems tobe 1 pixel misaligned ... I see something like a "small bump" on them. Barely noticable, but a bit disturbing ....

Thanks for the reply Bilbo, but If you refer to the picture with the station wel than
I have to say that this is altered with paint so I haven't coded this but I've copied
the track I've drawn and pasted it over the existing track...
If you refer to the drawing of the barricade with only the track underneath it wel than I have to
say that I've taken it from a screenshot of the original game... So I guess I stole that track
but I don't think that's bad...
But If you could be so kind to show me exactly what pixel that you mean?
thanks

I meant the track under the barricade looks like it is one pixel shifted. But if it is made in paint and not a final graphics then yes, it may be a bit misplaced :)

Nice start, although it appears that they don't sit perpendicular across the tracks. You need to make them parallel with the edge of the tile.
