To me 2cc look suitable for carrying prisoners.
The 2cc version looks like livestock vans
 You're bashing the 2cc version when it's the same as the fixed paint version, except using the appropriate colors.

i have drawn all views fo the metro stock, so far i'm just showing the "_" view (it's easier to make a train in a display picture, like in the depot window)

This is not possible. Name is already in use by another grf/set: http://users.tt-forums.net/ttdur/ttdur.htm

How about "The Daily Grind Set" or the "Urban Panorama" set???

If we go with "The Daily Grind Set" i'd have to do a starbucks train
BTW: where is the "Urban Renewal" thread, or does the user space count as a thread?

As i said, a starbucks train
I reached back into some of my first sprites and recolored them.
(Note: When this train breaks down, it doesn't go to a depot, it goes to the coffe shop  )

You can rename the topic yourself. Just edit the very first post of the topic and change the title there :D

Here is my first buildig for the set (yes the default buildings will be replaced with the set)
First is the WTC (Twin Towers), but the buildings will be global in theme.
the next one will be the shanghi world financial center.

I don't know if there is any and it doesn't matter. The problem is that we cannot use the same name for a different set/grf. It will be confusing. Urban Renewal is already "claimed". You can use "REISCOOL's Urban Renewal" or "European Urban Renewal" but not "Urban Renewal".

Those WTC towers are way too small. In real life, the Twin Towers were some of the tallest (if no the tallest, I can't claim to know which buildings are the tallest). The ones you have drawn possibly even smaller than the TTD default "Tall Office Block".

That didn't stop ECS from stealing its name from the other ECS.

[GeekSpeak] The Twin Towers were shorter than the Shanghai Word financial building.
WTC/Twin Towers: 1368 Ft
SWFC: 1614 Ft

 :) All Hail Wikipedia :)
[/GeekSpeak]

The TTD versions (somewhat) show this difference (quoted in [GeekSpeak])
 Enjoy

And What do you mean by that?
That I stoled the ECS from myself?
ECS vectors are the only ECS realization I know. Point me the other one if you know
ECS was designed by Michael Blunck, George, AgRiG and Wile E. Coyote

Tsk, tsk. Is your memory really that bad? I know for a fact that this very conflict was mentioned, and in the newECS thread, no less. Probably not too long after newECS decided that "NCS" wasn't good enough for it, and it had to steal oldECS's name. Some people persisted in calling it NCS for that very reason. Unfortunately, it didn't stick.

No it wasn't. ECS was proposed by Purno. The also team included broodje, Colonel32, mauro, Raven, Saskia, and Snorbuckle.

Can we stay on topic, ladies? Some of you ought to know better (and I won't call names, DaleStan ;)). Discuss ECS in the ECS topic and keep REISCOOL's topic clean.

EDIT: please (by Purno's request)
EDIT2: no seriously, just joking. Sorry if it sounds harsh

Sorry, I misunderstood your post (You wrote "name" but you meant "abbreviation"). You had to write it more understandable in your post :(

I'm sorry to say, but I think that those really tall buildings you have planned (WTC and Shanghai) will not scale properly for TTD. For scaling, study Zimmlock's set, and how buildings are in proportion to eachother. Your WTC towers have a smaller footprint than a house in TTD, and if you keep within in the 5-7 pixel scale for floors, your building would be well over 500 pixels, much to big for a TTD map. I'd suggest drawing smaller buildings. They'll look much better in game and out. :)
