I see you sold all your road vehicles !

That coalmine will close down after a while, it's just random
What I do , is load the game in the editor, destroy the mine and build a new one, I hate when you build a nice line and something decides to close
That is why I build a completely connected network. This way the only thing you would have to do is reroute your trains to another coalmine and delete the station near the closed mine.

From Cecilie Irgens TT pages.

A number of actions on vehicles have an effect on the random seed, but which actions seems to vary, over time:
Stopping vehicles (road or rail)
Starting vehicles ( " " " " " " " )
Sending vehicles to depot
Giving orders to vehicles
Selling vehicles
Buying vehicles
All of these, and some others, have effect now and then.

The one which almost always seems to work is

- - -"Buying new road vehicles"- - -

I usually stop a few trains and see what happens.

Well about the closing industries, you could just change autosave to every 3 months, it's what i do, that way, you won't forget to save... though sometimes i forget to switch it on lol.

I had this problem.

Here is what I did. I either bought 25%, 50% or 75% of an AI Company, yeah I know you might lose money buying them but if it is a high profit company (even with bus stops with 1032 people) then YOU receive some of the profits and none of the AI losses, sweet eh!?

I think ... you receive nothing while you have 25%-75% shares of company ... nothing ...
