My preference would be in a weekend, but I have nothing planned for both 25/26 august or 1/2 september. Both would be fine by me!

Yes 3 votes for the 25th, that's right in the middle of my holidays, since I have no plans this may well work

If I am able to make it to the Netherlands, it won't be until the 28th at least, I believe. Possibly the 27th. I may not be able to make it though, it all depends on money and suchlike.

that's why i voted the 1st of september. i'm probably extremely busy that last week of august, so if it's anywhere in there i'd be in trouble, and probably not there.

My school starts again at 22-08, so I won't be able to come here (First weeks are very busy..)

Won't promise that. The reason I'm saying is we either could consider not to meet at 1/2 september, or move the meet over to that steam event (most of us are train freaks anyways, aren't we?). TBH, I plan to go to the steam event too.

I'll allow voting up to sunday so we can decide on which day the meeting will be held.

I'm voting 1/5 on monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and friday. I don't care which of these days it's gonna be, but I prefer those above saturdays and sundays, I think you know why

Still, I can't technically vote that, so this post will just have to do.

EDIT: To make my vote more powerfull, I'd just vote for the weekday which got the most votes instead

The meeting will be held at the 25th as weekends are the time that most people are available, it is also very unlickely that Owen will be able to go to the Netherlands and we don't have to count on him.

Lobster and I agreed that the biggest part of the meeting will be held in Kafé België in Utrecht as it is a nice pub, with loads of different beers to buy . We could do a walk through Utrecht a bit but I don't think it will be really fancy. If anyone else got other ideas where we can go to please post them here.
The meeting will approximately start at 11 o'clock and will end somewhere in the night, probably not too late. Somewhere around 8 to 9 o'clock would be best, although some people will be going out afterwards anyway and maybe some other want to join in too, but is still very basic and not really official .

Please keep in mind that all foreigners are welcome too, as long as you speak either Dutch or English (and understandable), any other language will be hard to understand for the most/some of us . But still, you are welcome, very welcome even .

Please remember that alcohol can't be server under 16 and don't go bragging other members about buying it for you, and also don't go whining at the barkeeper they generally don't like that . Also remember that you must have permission from your parents/gaurdians when under 18 (especially when comming from abroad).

Hmm, I wonder wether 1100 is a good time to start, maybe 1300 would be a better time, especially considering that some people have to get out of bed really early to make 1100 (although you can keep walking in the entire day I think).

Settle for noon, otherwise the day may not be worth the effort for some people.
