Some new shots with Industrial Station Renewal Set.
You really can spend hours only to create a station.

Very impressive shots indeed, I love those last two stations, look very realistic.

1. The Kornbrück Sawmill Station got three new platforms for wood unloading. Enjoy the variety of the ISR
2. The rails in fornt of Kornbrück sawmill station. the pure chaos, but still no switch was set wrong.
3. Frankberg Station. The station, where all the planks and lumber end. Noth of it the holding sidings with a rail of old BR 175s.

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots

Any idea how to activate them?
Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
search for Total Bridge Replacement Set.
There are many different bridge sets merged in one.

Hello back,
I started a game with cargodest and as always DB Set and all the other stuff
Picture 1:
You can see Schönehorst Hbf. My very first station and as you can see, it needs urgently improvement. Only 4 platforms have to service 20 trains and 10 trains use the freight station that has a poor connection to the rest of the world. freight trains always have to block the hole junction in front of the station
Picture 2:
Here is the very old coal station. The power station services Schönehorst , Niederfeld and all the small communities around those cities. The air is much polluted and that's why only few people live on the other side of the station. In the south there is the main passenger line to Niedefeld, which we will follow now.
Picture 3: Anderhausen is a small town, where the line to Niederfeld is. In the south there is a coal line to the main coal station (More information later)

Picture 4:
This is so far the biggest station: Niederfeld Hbf.
Small trains go in all directions.
There is the big line Schönehorst - Niedefeld (the rails are in the east)
Goods go to this station and from there to the rest of the world.
There is the VT, a high speed train to Frieddorf
Picture 5:
The steel mill of Niederfeld. No comment
Picture 6:
A big coal station. Coal from 3 coal mines go to this station and form there eighter to the steel mill or to the power station

Picture 7:
We follow the line to Frieddorf and arrive in Bielenburg. A small, but important city and the center of all the townships arround it.
In the south you can see the VT, which has its own tracks that no other train blocks this priority train.
Picture 8:
This is Nienfeld with a small S-Bahn. The coal mine is connected directly to the steel mill. It doesn't go to the coal tranfer station first. and again you can see the VT-tracks
Picture 9:
The goal of the VT and the line Fireddorf - Bielenburg.

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
The next shot is from a game with improved breakdowns. Also I tried to build a realistic railway. The passenger trains first have to stop at the cargo station, where it can "turn arround" and go into direction west. Servicing station (aka depot) is in the town and trains have to shunt a little, because there is no room to put rails in all directions. (Also the town doesn't want to lose all the mountain pastures)

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
Another big game with cargo distribution. As always, DB Set XL with the really great double decker coaches.
First picture is Jena, a city, but too small so that there is no ICE and IC. People have to travel to Frankfurt first. (I have always missed theese double decker coaches in the DB Set....)
Second picture is München/Munich. Terminal station with the ICE München - Wolfsburg - Halle, and three S-Bahn lines.
Third picture is Wolfsburg. A very big city, but a small station, because all trains terminate in Halle and just drive through Wolfsburg.

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
Halle: Second biggest city with the central ICE depot. The ICE München - Wolfsburg - Halle and the ICE Düsseldorf - Frankfurt - Halle terminate here, as all regional trains.
Magdeburg: We follow the way to Frankfurt via Magdeburg (you also can go via Chemnitz and Jena). The ICE has its own way, because the old rails can't handle the speed.
And the sixth screenie is a map of the little world.

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
Beautiful! I really will never figure out how people have so many branches! How profitable are the stations with only 2000 people? My problem is probably that I always want my trains to be full... Is that City Stations?
Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
Some pretty cool shots there indeed

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
I don't care much, whether a train is full loaded or not. In Frankfurt are always 14.000 people waiting, but almost every traveller goes via Frankfurt. In Halle there are 6000 and in Erlangen (2500 inhabtiants) there are 100. But of the 14.000 in Frankfurt there are just about 50 people who want to go to a small town with 1000 inhabtants. (50 people per twon and there are many towns and several big cities, so there are easily 14.000 people) The RB goes to 5 such small towns and so the train has about 200 passengers. The RE is mostly full. it connects the medium towns with the big cities. ICs and ICEs are always full, because most of the connections go via the Halle and Frankfurt.
Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
After seeing your screenshots I've started to connect my own networks to much smaller cities, but I'm probably taking it too far (100 people xD). It'll be fun to see it grow though
. Are you using City Stations?

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
The first picture shows Erlangen. There is a small R-Bahn that goes to from Erlangen to Kassel. The RE (Regional Express) only stops in Erlangen and takes all passengers from Erlangen, Wittenberg and Kassel to Jena, Frankfurt and the rest of the world.
In the second picture it is the same: From Saarbrücken goes a S-Bahn to the north (small towns) and there is the RE Frankfurt - Saarbrücken - Braunschweig (in the very west of the map)

Re: (OTTD) - Aylomen random screenshots
Here I have a picture of the S-Bahn in München, where S2 and S3 split. S2 goes to Dachau and S3 to München Süd.
Now I will build an ICE from Frankfurt via Jena to Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Pictures will follow...
