Yes, they are pretty well rendered Italian trains! :)

However, for the Italian set, I was thinking about starting from scratch. If we can get a trainlist up and running soon, I can start drawing some engines for it (I've been long waiting for this moment and would like to do most of the drawings ;) if you guys are okay).

Sidew, I think your proposals are very reasonable, but we still miss some engines: the E326 electric, for instance, then the diesels (we can have most of them, so the 341, 343/443, 345/445, 442 and the 461 prototype, together with maybe the 145 and 241 shunters), and I think a couple of EMUs.

Also, a thing I want the set to have is threephase electrics from the very start. That's why I'm so keen on getting NewRoutes to support it :D

True, my list is incomplete because I made in 5 minutes using my memory, so maybe I put some incorrect group names or forgot some units.

For a fast release, my suggestion to release a first version with few but common units, then a large and complete set.

I deliberately omitted the treephases loco because OTTD and TTDpatch doesnt' get a distinction on power sources and isn't realistic to see treephases locomotives circulating with DC locomotives. This thing have more sense only after 1990 with the new polytension locomotives. If you like these, insert them without problems.

Do you know wich type of loco are available in Serbian set?
these:

E491/492 (the unluckies loco for sardinian lines because these are developed for monophase AC 15KV)

and the ETR460

PS you can see the other loco in serbian set at this link on Wil E Coyote website
and 813 DMU also:

Also, you are welcome to use Serbian wagons for Italian set. Every wagon has its UiC code, so it would be easy to determine which wagons are the same.

Thanks, Wile! :D
It would be great if we could base some of our freight wagons on your creations. We might have to change them a bit, but we could use your wagons as the base sprites (and of course credit you).

You're welcome. :D
You can use them as they are, or modify them, no problem. I could help too if I'll have time.
