yes in the sprite-subset there is this code. 1 is for no tilting > 3 is for tilting (3 pics, left middle right

GOT IT. WORKS NOW.
There's no more tilting on the straight slopes. The tilting in curves is not yet realized but it wont be too hard implementing it.
EDIT: I've tested the program on another computer. It seems that some version problems of the used ActiveX controls keep the code from running properly. I'm going to rebuild the whole user interface without those old controls. So don't expect too much too early.

While you're at it, there's some things that VC is missing, like the bit_4 switch for steep slopes, the ability to set your own sound and probably some more, I just can't remember now.

Provided that I can get the source code of VC (currently I only got the code of MSTS2Locomotion) this shouldn't be too hard to change.

As far i can remember the sourcecode of VC itself isnt available

Well, we if the renderpart works, we still can use the VC to make the XML/DAT

guess that's back to notepad for me.

tbh, none of my trains' XML can be opened by VC anymore without loosing some settings...
also train ordering (driving carriages on the outside / carriages inbetween) is missing from VC.
oh well, shame we lost that certain user back then. loco modding would have progressed much further.
