No, and no, although it could perhaps be made to remember. Still it would look odd if a place turns and
then starts to bank...

Very true. And I suppose we don't really want to do something like PBS for aircraft, so they know when they'll be turning and can bank in advance accordingly... Yuk, what a mess. Probably better to leave well enough alone.
Although it would be kind of cool seeing the planes bank hard to take those corners when they're circling the airport waiting to land.

Well, "tilting" for trains should be approx. 8° only, anything more (30° to 45°) would be in the realm of RCs. Cool
Well, the APT tilts up to 12.5 degrees, last time I checked
Look at the APT!

Here's an updated version.
Changes:
- added grf resource management
- reduced weight to 41 t per car
- reduced top speed to 140 mph
- changed it to electric
- added message if "multihead" is not on
- made sure speed is 140 mph even if multihead speedup is not zero
- prevented front/end heads from being flipped by moving around in consist
- added name and description, and gave it a better vehicle name
- gave "can not attach" error a better description, now it tells you what you may attach
Still needs someone to fix the offsets. Also, you need the updated alpha 59 pre 3 to load it.

Just playing with your new virgin train, it looks really nice. However, I found out that the angle of tilting is a not quiet right. The engine and the carriage are different when it is going in "\" direction.

In // mode the power car furthest away from you always tilts away
And I really don't want to pay £9000 for a passenger car

the power car is a bit cheap

As stated if you read the entire thread, the grf is merely a test grf to get a functional tilting train to work. It was in no way intended to be a fully operational, playable grf...

Hey!
Was the Virgin Pendolino Class 390 ever completed with the correct tilting angel?
If so, where can i download it from? If not, how can i help?
Virgin have started running 11 Car versions from this year with 2 extra carriages:
1x Standard Class
1x First Class
Although it wont be completed for another year or 2, so standard is 9 Cars per train.
Was the Virgin Voyager and tilting Super Voyager completed also (also Arriva Cross Country branded)!?
Thanks!
