That's some nice stuff!

Anyway, I found some stats on the wagons, but it's in Swedish.

C20: http://web.ss.se/vagnhallen/typ.asp?id=295
C20F (same as C20, but built with composit materials, which makes it 2.6 tonnes lighter. Has slightly different exterior and interior.): http://web.ss.se/vagnhallen/typ.asp?id=924
C6H: http://web.ss.se/vagnhallen/typ.asp?id=300

I'll be more than willing to translate anything from Swedish to English if necessary.

Quick update for those interrested. Im still alive and working on it.

here are 2 renders. still a few bugs in it

http://www.oricom.ca/dpearson/test14.bmp

The passenger unit is pretty much done. Did A LOT of optimisation n stuff. Gotta do the same on the driving unit and then will give it a shot for lomo. Still targetting xmas as release date (to be on the safe side) but it could happen sooner. More to come in a few days or a week.

done with the renders of both units. Figured that the refinements that are still yet to be done on the driving unit wont matter in lomo anyway since we look at it at long range so we dont get to see evry details. Plus the refinements are mostly for the interiors anyway, so nothing lomo can see in details.

Tryed to figure out the palette thing but no luck. I kinda suck with picture editing software so I have no idea how to do this. I use photoshop.

Also the renders seems to be ok but im not 100% sure since the instructions said to rotate the model 45 degree but didnt stated the axis in wich it must be rotated. However at first glance the renders seems to be ok.

So if someone can post instructions on how to do it with photoshop or if someone wanna do it himself, I can zip the stuff and send it.

-45 degrees it was, that states the direction. Max shows the co-ordinates at bottom of your screen(atleast mine does), when you see -45 its in right position.

hmm ok i'll have to check that again. I tought that all 3 axis were listed and that a specific one were needed to do the -45.

Im at work atm so I cant do anything, will check at 10 tonight when i'll be back.

ok. So if you check this first screen below, is that what you're talking about? It feels like the person who did the readme is working from the top view, wich means a -45 degree on the top view on the z axis. (kinda important to be precise here.... -45 degree on a 3d environement means either of the 3 axis heh).

and one of the results:

If this is good, then I still need instructions for photoshop or someone who wants to do it.

I will make tonight a dummy, in Locomotion to see if everything is correct. :) Then some bughunting; and maybe our information about the angles can help the new writer of VC1.0 to solve the "tilting on slope" bug :)
