Hey, dont be too harsh on the tidus fella. The english langauge is completely stupid anyway. I understand perfectly what he's on about, and while I dont think road vehicles should work in the same way as rail vehicles, I think he brought an interesting point to the conversation.

It would be a good idea to embrace people willing to think outside of what people usually suggest, instead of 3 people complaining at him in a row and likely driving him away from our beloved forum.

If we drive people from the forums who is going to support the project?

Of course some standards need to be maintained concerning layout and forum rules etc. but that is something which personal messaging is useful for, no?

ESR, in the Smart Questions document, wrote:Odds are you'll screw up a few times. ... And you'll be told exactly how you screwed up, possibly with colourful asides. In public.
...
Community standards do not maintain themselves: They're maintained by people actively applying them, visibly, in public [emphasis in original]. Don't whine that all criticism should have been conveyed via private mail: That's not how it works.
In the absence of rules to the contrary, and in the presence of Moderators/Moderizzles who seem to agree with said document, I will observe the guidelines it sets out.
