All nice sprites, yes, and I'd like to see them in-game, but nothing that really sticks out from the pack so far.

OK, we'll do it this way then.
You still have 4 days left. submit your sprites! Next round I will ask for something more specific, though.

I think I would vote for DanMacK, Sanchimaru, Zimmlock or Hovering Taecup*, if one of them enters the contest; because those guys can make excellent TT graphics.

* sorry for those I forgot

Although I have reservations about the longvehicles behave in game, they are the best graphics in this thread so far, although all the entries look quite sharp :)).

If LordOfThePigs posted his RABe 500 emu, you'd be impressed!!!

It is also part of the upcoming Swiss Set.

The Countrlink Xplorer. I expect both the motor cars and the carriages.
Here, use this for your Ausset

If the next round is also an Australian train, I won't draw it :P

Thanks Purno! You know you are quite an authority in graphics around here; no matter how good anyone else is: you created the graphics tutorial, which is the most valuable work ever done... more than any good sprites.

Hmm, Michael Blunck has entered the forums lately... He is the one who inspired me in the first place, and an excellent graphics artist, having shown us his ships, trains, buildings, and even some buses. He is also a pioneer with the creation of the new stations and the way they are deployed; along with many innovations.

Zimmlock, another great artist who offered us a whole new urban set, and who is still baking a new bundle of age-changing buildings. Unbeatable in his field. Everybody is looking forward those old buildings.

By the way, Andrex also had a neat set of new buildings. What a pity that those were only replacements, not addons. He had also a cool train station, but I think that I heared that it wasn't his work...

DanMack is a wizard of the pixels, I love his steam locomotives. They do have own spirit. The set I'm most excited about currently is the Canadian set, and it just took off!

PikkaBird came out of nothing and had in no time a whole locomotives and buses set ready for us!! might not be the most impressive graphics ever, but I am totally astonished about how did he catch the classic TT stile in his UK renewal set

Oz is the one who got us all paralyzed in front of the screen with his Central Station, and dreaming of the time when we will be able to use that master piece on our networks.

George not only has a site plenty of graphics, but also has an awesome ability for adding detail (he got people thinking that 6 pink pixels were a sensual woman) He also jumped into this arena without hesitating. He's good, and he is aware of that.

TTDartist also came suddenly, drew a tone of nice trains... and dissapeared. I hope to see the Australian set running soon, the variety of trains and landscape is very attractive to me.

I can't forget Raven, who helped keeping the Japan set alive while I had no computer and helped, among others, to complete most of the main sprites. Even now he is doing and excellent work in 3D for Simutrans, don't miss the chance to drop by the Simutrans forums and look for his US trains.

There are more left. And I hope that many more are to come.

I'm afraid that at the moment I am busy at university, and the spare time I have, I want to invert in the Spain set.
But I don't think I can prepare any good graphics within 4 days, since I have a very important exam next sunday.

In resume, for me there is not one great artist in this family of TTD (as Mr. Jim Powers likes to say), but what makes the family so great is the fact of having so many artists and each one is giving the best for this game.

Only backlights. You can't see the frontlights, because the whole front is white too.

It's the Gatwick Express - the nose is a bit too long I think, but I like it anyway.

If you look at the pictures you can see that the train has white lights.

BTW: I forgot to thank you all for the compliments, so, thank you
