GREAT IDEA !!!
It seems as my preasures to introduce a new 'rank' system has been worthfull
Well, i've got my rank in the location thing delete, because I dont need it any more!
Well, this method has it's pro's and con's. But in my opinion more pro's than con's..

1 It brings kinda variety into the avatars .. thats a ++
2 Its harder to recognise someone in the end... thats a --

How about these ranks, no one could get 3000+ post, not even with the word game!*!

These are how my ranks would look! !

Bankrupt: 0
Engineer: 1-50
Traffic Manager: 51-100
Transport Coordinator: 101-150
Route Supervisor: 151-250
Director: 251-500
Chief Executive: 501-850
Chairman: 851+
President: Moderator
Tycoon: Adminastrators

(It gets harder as you go on!*!)

P.S. Observer has made his own rank!*!

I think there should be some in 4 digits. I'm sure some people will get to the top soon, then we have nowhere to aim. Maybe you could have 2000 as Isambard Kingdom Brunel or something.

I get tired of othere ones, I visited the forum everyday, and I'd like to see something new. There's no reason for this one, as for the others.

We should have a joker for the people who always get off topic. And they could post a couple jokes sometimes. (I'd like to be one )

And reaching 3000 posts is not that difficult
if someone can reach 500 in a week, then 3000 is done in a month

Put extra ranks to like 1 for post count another for how they act (good for keeping mean people off the boards ) one for whether their post are serious:
Crazy:1 post in 100 serious (observer and mati )
Fun-loving:1 post in 50 serious
Average:1 post in 25 serious
Serious:1 post in 10 serious
Down-to-Earth:1 post in 2 serious (me, no seriously! )

As Owen replied to me, this is impossible to maintain
I like it the way it is, with the TT names

I like those ranks but what would I be?

Spiff's spritual post count may actually be really low, depending on how many of his posts are total spam.

Think of it like this - If someone has posted 20 times and 19 of them have been useful contributions, it's better than someone posting 2000-odd posts if only 19 have been useful contributions.

Post counts don't show anything. I say this after being a moderator at EEA and having vinnie ram that down my throat constantly. I mean 'I got 2000 posts! w00t!' Well, look how much I don't care.
