Is there really nobody else experiencing problems with this lot? I think that they are bloody fantastic, but, when i have the four of them and use the scenario creator things, i can go make a map, etc etc etc, when i go to select the trains as i move my cursor over any of the 3 trains it causes an error and crashes the game. I have therefore taken them out of the game for now but if bloodnok or anyone could help it'd be appreciated, perhaps someone has advice on how i can stop this???

Oh, im glad im not the only one experiencing issues. Sorry to say that!
Its such a shame because aesthetically they are fantastic, and a great addition to the game!

look nice.
bit of a bump, but would you mind telling me how to choose which set of sprites for each part of the vehicle
im working on a longer oil truck, 4 parts, and need to get the last 3 sections using the trailer sprites

wouldnt it be easier to just edit the trailer of that truck that can have the trailer attached, and make it attach to more trailers, but dont forget to increase the power of the truck as well.

it would be easier, yes, but it doesnt work
several people have tried, i keep getting the error 'vehicle too long' when trying to add a third section

i think the tanker truck also needs to be edited, but im not shore, maybe its got to be somthing like the trains coding, and the trucks, there has to be something thats the same from both codes.

Cant you get the tanktruck .dat to use the tanktrailer sprites? or somekind?

i could swap the sprites but then all the parts would look like trailers
thats why im asking bloodnock how to set groups of sprites for different parts of vehicles

000.png to 135.png is sprite 1, 136.png to 272.png is sprite 2 (136 sprites per part)

Also, isn't it the second-biggest tanker that gets the trailer? The 'best' model in-game (as seen demonstrating the AI in my sig) doesn't have the option for a trailer.

back on this topic, has the four trains been fixed yet, because so far it turned into road trains.
back on the road train topic, that liveray truck as well, would be good to see a few trailers on that as well

Bloodnok is right here, and is busy playing Locomotion and using these multiple units.
I *have* seen a crash with these, sometimes it's happened when adding them to a scenario in the scenario editor, but this normally works, and I haven't been able to reliably reproduce it. I've seen an even more occaisonal crash when loading a scenario with them in - this is even less reproducible, and it never happened for the first game I loaded - only ever for subsequent loads. I've not had a crash on startup with these at all.
For those experiencing crashes, do you have other custom content installed? If so, which ones? (I've got my own stuff, all of Pikka's stuff, NS_37's GP38s, GP40s and SD40s, and the earth ramps installed.)
If someone more experienced with building the XML files can tell me what it is that's wrong, I'd be happy to fix it - but I can't see what's wrong, and I can use them in a fairly reliable manner...

Hi, glad you are here still.
With regards to other mods, i do use other mods. I have a NL pack on my game for the wagons, and i use pikkabirds DBSO all the time.
I have managed to utilise these in game a few times, i just cant understand why it causes the game to crash - perhaps someone else can help us here? I really think it is a good mod, can you mod graphics for the front of the train? I think that if you kept to the same body design but changed the front of it you could make a 317, 318, 319, 320, 321, 322, and even a 323 with different values such as HP and speed. When something is purposefully made its far better than any conversion about.
Might give them another go, but im tiring of lomo a bit now, its too repetative because there isnt enough vehicles.

yes i've had the same crash when loading it into a scenario, i have never had them crash the game whilst i am playing and neither when loading up.
Buy yes thay are fantastic, it gives abit of variety to the later stages of the game even if they all look similar.

i usually get a crash in the scenario editor when i hover over one of the trains (think its the 507). Not sure why tho.

yeah thats the problem i have 2 the 507, i jes did it btw, lol.
Hang on isn't that the 'original' EMU that came with Locomotion? I wonder if the game doesn't like that it has been given a centre car perhaps?
A suggestion, perhaps not very helpful but nonetheless a suggestion.

I think is has an other name then the original 2 cars one. I will try it this weekend if i have the time for it. Then i will also look at the "fast emu bug"
Things that could cause it:
- Wrong sprite numbering
- Missing inportant stuff (Weight, speed, power, costs)
- Wrong pallete
- A bugged Locomotion installation
