Ok, sorted it. Turns out you can't have spaces on the path to openttd.exe (I was running from a "Test Build" named folder).
Naming it to TestBuild sorted it out.

Also, found the required DirecMusic libs/includes (DirectX8 minimal package from Allegro page) but for the life of me can't sort the compilation errors it throws at me when trying to compile with DirecMusic support... so I'll just drop it.

Now, to finish packing the new integrated build... :) (writting all those credits is a killer :P)

No Music in OS X

Dear OpenTTD players/developers,

Since the 'upgrade' from 0.3.6 to 0.4.0.1 the music (MIDI) doesn't work anymore.

I have the gm folder placed at the correct place as discribed in the manual (It also should be because it worked in version 0.3.6).

Specs of the computer(s):

PowerMac G4 867Mhz
Mac OS X 10.4.1

PowerMac G5 Dual 2Ghz
Mac OS X 10.4.1

PowerBook G4 1.25Ghz
Mac OS X 10.4.1

iBook G3 700Mhz
Mac OS 10.3.9

So probably there's a Mac OS X MIDI problem with version 0.4.0.1?

With Kind Regards,
Kasper Schoonman

I can confirm this. Running on Win98se from ".\Program Files\OpenTTD\", the music wouldn't work unless I set it to use the -m dmusic tag. I moved it to ".\OpenTTD\" and the music worked.

I'll fix this and have it committed to SVN soon.
