The old-school truck looks great! The future one is interesting, clearly can see MAZ 2000 "Perestrojka" in the lower part, but the cabin looks too toy-ish... I think making a short part of roof painted would look better. Just an opinion.

Maybe some darker blue/gray as solar panels would actualy work even better.

Obviously "inspired" not the same, I had already shown some images when I started designing it.

To be fair, it looks really nice and quite accurate. The long glass roof didn't make much sense to me when i thought it's "Perestrojka" but now i understand it. Good work on this

No problem, I saw a truck I didn't know, the MAZ 2000 concept was very interesting and maybe a future idea for Semi Trucks newgrfs, why not?

Awesome, thank you! With the increased tractive effort trucks behave much better, even with then HP reverted
Idea for version 1.2 perhaps - how about changing some stats around to make the trucks differ more? As in the only difference between the "old" and "diesel" ones (as an example), introduced 40 years apart, is just 10km/h...perhaps one could have some increase in HP/capacity and a different running cost?
Also, maybe the "old" ones could expire at some point i.e. they still show as buyable even in 2030.

Version 1.2 Released at Bananas!

Real Trucks provides trucks and buses in 32bpp from the year 1950 onwards!

It is compatible with all types of loads! Although there are specific trucks for some loads, the Box Truck can be converted to any load!

Changelog:

- Fixed bugs. (Power increase from 120 hp to 240 hp in articulated past trucks)

- Old Trucks now Avaivable since 1950 year.

And survey for Real Trucks users, what things do you think could be improved or added for the next version?

add colours to the car , add speed changing option, those are not the real speeds, players must be able to add or change speed of vehicles , like suppose if its 100 kmph , it should be changeable to 150 or 200 kmph as per the players preference , also add something to change the capacities of the trucks of big sizes , the semi trucks , and their colours . a request from your fan .

Can you please revise the introduction date for the articulated, diesel-powered vehicles because their predecessors are expiring before the diesel upgrades are available. The original articulated trucks introduced in 1950 are not available for renewal in 2005, and their diesel-powered upgrades are not available as of 2005-10-10 (see attachment for available vehicles).

Also, if I might make a suggestion, can you please disable passengers in cargo vehicles? The AI was using semi-trucks to transport 300 passengers in a previous game, and I only noticed when one came-off second-best colliding with one of my trains .

Hi, The trucks are not all updated on the same date, the transition from gasoline to diesel occurs between 1995 and 2007.

The Gasoline veh useful life is 45 years, which extends from 1950 to 1995 and for a few years it is not possible to buy new gasoline vehicles until the Diesel models appear. At the time I thought of it as adding additional difficulty to the gameplay, but perhaps I should increase the useful life to 60 or 70 years so that gasoline and diesel vehicles can coexist for a few years.

Ahhh, those lucky b******.

This was designed for players who like eyecandy, since transporting passengers is easy, I plan to adjust some of that for the next version.
