A LOT of great planes coming

I must say I like the biplane version of the Kelling K6

And some more planes, these are of some of the "real" planes...

This project is looking great
Still I can't stand the grass and the rocks.
They just look a bit blurry. So I took a look and compared the original grass and the replaced one. What looks different? that in the original there are some random pixels in the grass sprite while in the replaced looks more or less uniform.
So I did a test. I just added to the project graphic a few random pixels. The result is a bit lacking as I spent more time doing copy&paste of squares than looking if the pixels looked fine. However with a bit of work it could look better

Loving them

One thing I will say, the nose on the Darwin 300 (747) needs to be a bit longer, it looks a little to blunt, otherwise, the rest look awesome

How about this for the 747? And also attached is a zip of the gifs of all the planes so far...

Better, but is it me or are the wings a bit wrong and fatty? And currently nose is dark. Also Dinger 400 is very fat. That think isn't supposed to be a blimp!
And I agree, that silly planes should be replaced with real(istic) ones.
Excellent work on planes.
LaDoncella: Your grass looks better. Will you make the rest of the sprites too?

Zephyris, you are a MADMAN! Just unbelievable how you knock these out like it's nothing! This week I have some studying to do for an exam I have this friday, but after that I should be able to help out with the buildings. I just refuse to do Toyland, that's all. Is there a list of what buildings haven't been drawn yet?

I think I just have lower quality standards than everyone

Yup, it imitates the style of the original graphics and makes them more visible in the final sprite.
Also Dinger 400 is very fat. That think isn't supposed to be a blimp!
Lol, Ill have a poke and see what I can do
The buildings which need drawing are:
Conventional climate town buildings:
Temperate church (1434-1437)
2 square flats (1448-1453)
Statue (1454)
Fountain (1455)
Parks (1456-1457) - should be an easy graphics recycling job.
Temperate 60s office block (1459-1460)
Temperate warehouses (1473-1478)
Stadia (1479-1486, 1554-1562) - lordazamath has done some work on the small one.
Temperate modern office block (1530-1535)
Temperate tall office block (1546-1551)
Temperate theatre (1552-1553)
Temperate cinema (4404-4405)
Shopping mall (4406-4417)
All arctic buildings (4418-4492) - snow covered versions are sprites 4574-4587
Tropical church (4604)
Tropical 2 square office block (4614-4619)
Tropical office block (4624-4625)
... and if you don't like the style of the newbuildings office blocks ...
Temperate old office blocks (1421-1428, 1461-1469, 1536-1539)
... and if you don't like the scale of the tropical flats ...
Tropical flats (4601-4603, 4609-4613, 4620-4622)
Industries:
Lumber mill (2353-2364)
Tropical/Arctic farmhouse (trgcr/hr)

newPlanes
All air vehicles done except:
Airtaxi A34-1000
Yate Z-Shuttle
Helicopter blades
(these have been replaced with blank sprites)
The sprites have not been cropped to the size of the vehicle so the filesize is probably a little large, I'm sure there is a grfcodec setting to do this automatically...

Isn't there something wrong with horizontal rail tracks?

(maybe the steel is thicker or brighter then for other directions...)
I hope, those GRFs will be still separately available... I like to chose sometimes only to replace parts of the originals...

They will. In fact, every single version ever created is still available, you just need to look through the topic for that. For the latest partial sets you might as well consult the wiki page.

I have no idea if this has been mentioned, but as far as I can work out I'm one of very few who play toyland. I know the idea of toyland is to be a bit wacky but surely this is too much?

I should probably add that I'm using the OpenGFX set in the coops GFXPack
Might also help if I highlight the fact my building skills are not to blame that that this isn't a windup ^^

That is a bit of a mess! As lordazamath says it will be fixed in the next release.
Isn't there something wrong with horizontal rail tracks?
What exactly do you mean? The transition from horizontal to diagonal rails?
And here are a few futuristic planes, what do you think of these to replace the Airtaxi A34-1000 and Yate Z-Shuttle?

They look really nice, i like them
And wow in 2 days you already, done all the planes

I think those are very suitable for replacement for the A34 and Yate Z. The original ones are weird-looking anyways, while these are actually plausible futuristic looking planes. I like!
I'd pick the first two, as the third looks like a very fast plane, while the A34 and Z are actually not that fast.

there is a bug i'd like to report.
In the color-window (and others) it all show up as blue, and not as a the color used... As well as in the City status windows they always show up as blue and not red or whatever CC is in use...
i got a hunch that this is due to the fact that the "magic" blue that is supposed to be ... well, magic blue, is some kind of other blue
btw, this is in the "opengfx-all-in-one-pack r1"

Those sprites are supposed to be CC, but got palconverted by accident at some point. They will be updated in newGUI at some point...
