New Livery:

ASDA. Transports Food and Small Amounts of Alcohol. (I think you should have the cab carry small amounts of alcohol if this industry type is available, and the trailer carry food, unless of course you can make the trailer carry both).

And another:

Sainsbury's, same cargo as Asda.

What are you trying to say about lorry drivers?

Different cargoes in the front and back is easy as a default but beyond my coding (as yet) for refits

Actually what this set really needs is a competent coder to re-do the coding - any volunteers?

Cheers

Bob

How about me? You'll have to wait till next week though - I've got other things going before that.

You'd code this for us? It needs the sprites aligning correctly, and some of the colours i used on the refits might not be in the windows color pallette. I'm pretty sure they are, but just in case. ;)

Looking forward to having some shiny trucks running around. If anyone has any requests for liveries they want me to do, just post them here and I will do them all.

I can't think of any for UK vehicles, but I could think of a few for US vehicles if somebody wanted to do the same thing for NARV ;-)

When im finished with BRBV and BROS i may be convinced to do liveries for NARV, but i dont have any 3D modelling software, so it'd be a pixel paint job.

Then why don't you get some? ;) If all you need to do is liveries, working on the 3D model is the easiest way to do it and doesn't require much learning.

Can't afford any decent 3D modelling software atm, and im happy to do pixel pushing for ttd ;)

(Does blender allow you to do texture mapping?)

New Livery:

Co-operative Food. Transports Food and Alcohol as other supermarket lorries. Not an especially distinctive lorry, but notice the tell-tale blue rear of the trailer which is common on most co-op lorries. :)

My UK map is visibly missing something important, a Buckfast Tonic Wine Tanker lorry to carry all my crazy caffeiney-wine to Scotland!

I am not sure what kind of lorry it is, heres a photo:

Blender is decent enough, and can do textures.

Thats a volvo truck, but the tractor itself isnt important particularly, as the same trailer will appear on several different tractors. I'll see what i can do ;)

To be fair though, the trailer and such looks rather plain except for that bit on the back.

Bob, can you send me the sprites for the Artic with a tanker trailer on the back?

I'll have to draw it first....

(edit)

Leanden - how upset would you be do discover I made an error in the DAF's cab - its one px too narrow in the horizontal views?

I think it's not supposed to be in this way:
The wheelbases of the trailer is changing in these two views:

Cabs and wheels are easy to move, as long as the bulk of the trailer isn't wrong then thats fine ;)

I modified your cab anyway to give it that little wing type thing on the top, it won't be a problem to stretch it by 1 pixel, in fact this benefits me somewhat :)
