Impretty sure Amreak is at 2.3. If you have Via, You have 2.3.

I'll Beta test it. send it as a pm. Althought it is the AIs i worry about with this i have seen one AI put a snowplow on the front of a a sleeper train.

!!!!! Think of a P42 in front of an intermodle train.

I was reading another post and noticed something i have probably not mentioned before publicly.. So I might as well confirm the rumor here.
I am sure everyone that installed this set saw:
"Union Pacific name and logo are trademark properties of Union Pacific Railroad, Inc. Used under trademark licensing agreement."
And then kept clicking away at the "next" button to get the set installed fast as possible.,
But yes,
To answer a post on another forum,
this set is UP licensed under "the Union Pacific trademark licensing agreement for software that simulates railroad activities on computer".
It comes on a lovely piece of letterhead with a UP logo and my name on it (along with a bunch of legal stuff)...
~warm fuzzy feeling~
one less person that can sue me now..

Union picifc said that no one could thire logo for free. It changed with MTH and union picefc stetteled the matter and stop charging the righ to use the logo. Kind of damaged it rep.

New beta stuff for BR set is looking pretty crisp.
If you don't like the other crap out there, do something about it.
We would love to get some new IA stuff. ~hint~

Interesting news today. Watch this space for .....
Edit. Upgrade to 1.0.3
nothing major. just removed the long file names and fixed a few buildings.
No need to upgrade unless you plan on using locomod with the UP pack.

Change log:
1.0.4
Added Plastic Pellets to the hopper cars.
New graphics for TTX flats.
1.0.3
Downgraded Back to short filenames.
Resorted the "hive" folders to keep some order. It should be easier to find files now.
*After further extensive testing of "Long Filename Dat's", a bug was found in the way Locomod is written
as much as we liked the long file names, we felt the ability to edit save games was more important.
If the line of code is ever fixed, we will go back to long filenames.
1.0.2
Forgot to remove the sndtrk1.dat from the hive if you had 1.0.0
1.0.1
OOPS!!
Removed global track sound
I overlooked testing it on trams.
Appended a new sound to all the freight items
Read the "SOUND FIX READ ME.txt"
Updated installer to replace the users’ original file if they installed 1.0.0
1.0.0:
Sound fixes
Added track sound
Larger coal hoppers
New installers
0.9.6
Everything..
Please Report any bugs.

Thank you, sir, for all your efforts on our behalf. I've just started playing Locomotion again after a long break, and having a good selection of locomotives at the start of the game makes it a lot more fun for me. Starting in 1900 and trying to haul freight over Chris Sawyer's mountains with the "2-4-2 Special" is an exercise in frustration, to put it mildly.
What a blast to download the latest US LoMo set, and find locomotives in the liveries of my favorite railroads- PRR, Erie-Lackawanna, NYC, etc.- and even enough different boxcars, etc. to make realistic looking trains. Ah, the sweet torture in picking just 224 items from that menu.
Thanks again.

Yes, the mods are much better than the originale trains. Personally, to avoid to much pain from the 224 items-limit, I de-select planes, ships + as many trucks & busses as possible. What can I say, I like trains.

The Limit is a problem.
This is still one of the best sets out there. to bad the CSX link does not work. it is a tease that the link is sitting there.
I have been trying to play some German games recently and I keep coming back to this one. Maybe I'll try the BR set next. I hear it is pretty good.

The Dekosoft set is stand alone. you don't need any other set.
once you run the installer, that just puts the files into the Chicago_locomotive_works folder, they are not yet installed into locomotion.
You would then need to install the UP set and the Provo scenario into you your locomotion to use it. you can do it manually or you can use the web setup to install the files. on the gray screen us the yellow links. If You upgraded to the red one, click the locomotive pictures.

I like the new Installer.
Are the Rock Island and the Seaboard cars that drive past part of the grayed out "coming soon" buttons that don't work yet?
