ISA is talking about a test GRF I sent him long ago, of proposed fences for ISR. There are a few problems with these fences that prevent me from including them right now. I also have some nicer graphics that mph supplied. So there is a bit of work to do before these fences are ready.
Most of the changes that are being done now are bug fixes and small additions and improvements that take very little work to add. This will all be released in the near future as ISR v0.8.2.
Then I will start working towards v0.9 when more major changes can be made, hopefully including some fences.

Very nice that there is work being done again on this great GRF!
About automatically placed fences at the edges of the stations, uhm, would be nice if you could turn that off via parameter. Doesn't look so good when you place object-tiles next to it. (and you probably know about what objecttiles I'm talking about

)

Hi Quast65.
Yes, I’ve seen your ISR style objects GRF but haven’t had time to play with it yet. Thanks for helping keep the interest in ISR in my absence.
The fences in question are player built at the moment not automatic (except for corners). So no problem with your object tiles. If I do ever make automatic fences on ISR tiles, I will include a parameter to switch them off as you suggest.
Meanwhile all this discussion of fences has got me looking at them again.

I did a quick and dirty coding of mph’s fence graphics to see what they look like in game. Here you go…

OTTD needs an eye-candy feature similar to RCT, make fences buildable "on" gridlines

Or maybe reduce the frequency of their appearance, say every 3-5 tiles you have a CC board on the fence... So until they are automatic, there would have to be fence tiles without them placeable too...
I like the idea of a CC fence, it will help identify players stations in MP so wouldn't want to see them removed completely

Unfortunately though it's not quite complete.

The text file that I posted in wjteks86's Translators topic was missing a few strings. I have updated the file there, so if you could download it again and do the missing bits, I will add it to ISR.
Some of the strings that are missing are for andythenorth's vehicles. Some of these can be quite difficult to translate but if you have a look at Andy's
ISR Vehicle web page, there are many useful links that may make translation easier.

I'll translate Andy's vehicles too... I just KNEW something was missing from the objects list...

I realised it was out of date when wojteks86 sent his Polish translation. I updated the file both on the DevZone and in wojteks86’s thread yesterday.

This should be it then although some translations in Croatian aren't really... hmmm... good, accurate... whatever. There just isn't a way to translate it.

Changes can easily be added later if required. Even if your translation isn't totally accurate, I'm sure Croatian players will prefer it to English.
I just finished coding a new station for ISR. I’m probably going to call it "Freight station".
All the graphics are a slight rework of existing ISR graphics (mainly from the valuables station).
The idea was to have a station that looked good next to a town for goods deliveries. It can of course be used to deliver food, mail etc. As it is intended as a delivery station it doesn't show any varying cargo levels, but this has made it easier to achieve the layout I was looking for. Platforms showing cargo can be added by the player after the station is built if required.
