Use UTF-8 encoded files.

Can you show an example of how to translate this line?
1 * 1 04 04 87 01 SY_CROSSING C5 "Übergang" 00
Could not find anywhere else in Ation4 can use Unicode

Just add the the C3 9E at the beginning of the translation:
Code: Select all
-1 * 0 04 04 87 01 SY_CROSSING C5 C3 9E "железнодоро́жный перее́зд" 00
I prepared long time ago an action14 file (but never did anything with it). See the attachment. Maybe you prepare a translation for that, too? Then we add your translation, this file and call it ISR 0.8.1

did it! I translated the Industrial Stations Renewal in Russian!
Thank you very much for your help!
Regarding the transfer of action14.nfo - no problem, but I need the entire source code, so I can check the work in the game.

I enabled the compilation of
this project on the DevZone's compile farm. You can find a build of this NewGRF with added parameter support via GUI and dadesign's Russian translation on the
download server of DevZone. Please have a look and check whether everything continues to work as expected before I will make this maintenance release available via BaNaNaS.
Many thanks to the original creators, artists and maintainers, namely Sanchimaru, Oz, norfolksouthern37, Zimmlock, Ben_K, Born Acorn, mph, Arte Pro 34, andythenorth, Maedhros and mart3p for this essential station NewGRF. We'd not know what we can miss without it

I hope none of you mind that I took the liberty to add this GUI support

Thanks to you for keeping it alive! I'm glad to see this project still alive

Hi all,
I'm currently working on the renewal of the Japan Set freight wagons graphics and I was wondering if I could reuse some of the sprites used in the ISR as loads for the flatbeds. Who owns these graphics and under what licence are they copyrighted?
The sprites that I plan to use are the steel coils and logs. This is intentional, since I think this would look the best in game, since the ISR looks pretty good combined with the Japan Set.
Cheers!
Toni

The set and the graphics are released under GPL v2. I've not immediately seen any list of who drew what, but I haven't yet searched extensively either; the attribution in the existing readme is rather general, giving only an ccount of who contributed sprites. But I'm sure here are people who could give an account on the details.

You won't have all the angles you need for vehicles. Also, I suspect the logs may *not* be strictly GPL compliant (apologies to whoever drew them if wrong)
I have logs + steel loads in HEQS if you want them - GPL.
See the trams, log trucks, foundry transporters.

Thank you so very much, andythenorth! I've checked 'em out and it'll be probably easier to use yours, since they are already drawn in the correct angles and we're on our way to make a public release quite soon now (could be anywhere this or next month probably). You'll be properly credited for them!

ISR 0.8.1 released
This is an awesome set and I'd like to say kudos to all previous contributors by adding support for action14 and ingame text viewers. Today I added this in the version 0.8.1.
The new release is available from the ingame content download and the
DevZone. Thanks to all who created this great station set, namely Sanchimaru, Oz, norfolksouthern37, Zimmlock, Ben_K, Born Acorn, mph, Arte Pro 34, andythenorth, Maedhros, mart3p.
Code: Select all
v0.8.1
======
Add: Support for ingame parameter GUI via action 14
Add: Support ingame readme, changelog and license viewer
Add: Support for ingame URL to project page
Special thanks to mart3p who left the code in excellent shape and graciously gave me permission to amend this set and update also the bananas entry.

I felt inspired after seeing something similar on the Russian forums... I've used the graphics for the ISR train shed to create a replacement depot. Though it looks just as good on it's own, the idea is to have a depot that can fit seamlessly into an ISR station, e.g. by combining it with the corresponding station tiles which have animated doors. I'm afraid this is only coded using action A which means it probably isn't very rail-type friendly...
After some extensive digging through this topic I've established that the sheds were originally drawn by Born Acorn for the old Brick Freight Stations set, with subsequent modifications by Sanchimaru and mart3p for use in ISR. I had to make some further adjustments to correct a minor alignment issue and of course to create the rear views without doors. I'll upload the revised sprites over on the DevZone in case there's ever a v0.8.2.
