well I guess I'll just wait until there is some kind of "official" Mac Version... I'm new to Mac, thats my Problem, I think. Would be a good opportunity to learn how to code on this platform but I can't be bothered...

The challenge spinoff always crashes if i move the Map to the lower right corner of the screen. This only happends when I'm playing in fullscreen mode. It crashes with every map except the topographical (the one which is shown at first if you don't select anything else).
It says "Fatal Application Failure".
I'm using the Binary Build from page one ...

I had this same problem.. you need to have the old language files. A link to the old version is posted on the first page.

In every game I start I can't click the train depots anymore after some time, sometime already a few months. It craches when I click the depot, or when I try to blow it up. I just noticed the game even crasching without me clicking anything.
It's a real shame because I'm still looking forward to completing the challenge! Could you please let us know exactly what version of openttd should be used, maybe that helps. (I just downloaded the latest nightly build)
Can't wait to see it work!

Yeah it's real buggy, that's why it's called a beta.
I mentioned the revision number in the title post, if you use the binary it doesn't matter what "nightly build" you download, since it has it's own executable(!).
I'll bugfix it when I got time for it, I'm working on some graphics stuff atm

I'm still playing the first beta, since I believe it works best.
However, I thought it was possible to join two different types of station, build next to each other? Anyone tried this and got it to work?
Korenn, are you still working on beta 2? This is the best thing that ever happened to TTD (OTTD) and it would be a shame if a working version never came out.

well, since there's a new release of ottd, I'll create a new patch for that version soon and I hope I can fix the bugs.
but apart from that, no new additions for a while to come, since I'm hooked on locomotion and other interests

Oh, it was the trainset... I deleted it.
Should ad that to known bugs. Trainsets smash the graphics.

Bugs i have found:
1.When i click on the "Cargo Payment Rates" the game is crashing.

2.The terrain is VERY VERY hilly even when i set it to very flat.
Its very annoying.
3.This giant map has only about 50 cities when the number of cities in configuration set to maximum. Giant map like this should have atleast 150 cities and it should be the minimum.
4.Same about Industries.
5.There is no switch where i can choose which industries will be in the game. For example: i want that in this map will be only temperate industries and no others.
6.The two right corners of the map are completly terrain and the two other corners are completly water. Is there a way to make some balance between the corners ??

1. Yes, bug
2. Ah, but therein lies the challenge! I think it's great, constantly searching for small mountain passes to route trains through, the challenge that even 100 million won't completely terraform an area, in fact, it won't even make a decently long tunnel.
3. The number of cities is fine.
4. The number of industries is fine, if a LITTLE too random, a slight tweakage would fix that.
5. Then do what Korenn did. Take the source, and make your own.

The Spinoff better still be a working project! We have all this beautiful network code now, USE IT! I can't play multiplayer with the latest spinoff it just crashes, you need to make a beta3!!!
If you are sick of the project put the source code up on the boards, I'm almost sure someone will make this more popular to play than the regular TTD. It should be the mod of choice...
