I just want to say that the tall light pillar looks stunning compared to the other ones. If you coded up the nice lighting pillar for use as all pillars, then when the bridge is short, wouldnt it hide most of the light parts anyway? It may work.

If not, then I cant wait for (O)TTD(P) to code graphic selection by pillar height. It looks just amazing.

To get that special effect, it´d be sufficient to have layered sprites like we have for stations, houses and industry tiles - if ever a 0/1/2/3 scheme for bridges will be implemented.

I thought about calling action2 for each block height for pillar, starting with 0 being the lowest sprite (with proper slope mask). So it would call the sprite drawing several times. (the upper parts would get a non slope mask regardless of the lowest)

"the newest version of ttd" doesn't help us. Do you use TTDPatch or OpenTTD?
Which version of those do you use? Nightlies? (If so, which revision)?
Stable release?
Beta?

We need more information ;)

I had the same problem. Just downgrade the version a bit. IIRC, 1893 for OTTD.

r1893... hmm.. I THINK you've got something very wrong there.. OpenTTD is currently near r13058.. That's... A LOT MORE than r1893.. So mabe not posting wrong facts about OTTD.. Although if you are talking about TTDP nightlys, then don't say OTTD ;)

What stable release Openttd you are using, 0.6.1?
edit: It seems you have some grf conflicts, becouse it remains undisabled for me with OTTD 0.6.1, and it works. How many grfs have you activated?

I have (had) the same issue. Moving it to the very top of the grf list fixed the problem (but may cause graphic glitches with other grf sets, depending on what you have loaded).

ok, just to remind you all, TTRS contain bridges too, so you should disable the TTRS bridges, or load my set after TTRS. Bridge slots are constant, so I can only replace the original ones. Same thing applies to any bridgeset, do not use with TBRS,( or load it lastly, to overwrite the previous bridgesets.

You know it werid that i have the TTRS above the The Total Bridge Renewal Set because that seems to work and i haven't disabled the bridges on TTRS.

I'm really confused. I've been trying everything to get this to work since it came out, and I've finally decided to ask for help, at the risk of sounding stupid.

TTDP version is r1895. newgrf is attached.

I'm really stumped - I get no evidence of the set loading, yet I also get no error messages. I hope it's something simple I've missed or done wrong. Help is very much appreciated, thanks :D

You did it right, lower place in the grf list means higher priority, that set will loaded later. The game will load my set after TTRS. I might add a warning if TBRS is going to be overwritten, by other bridgeset :|
As for TTDpatch compatibility, it should work, I have checked the eary versions with it, but I couldn`t manage to set up a working TTDpatch after my system reinstall, (seems harder than an copy/paste OTTD). Also some recolourings may not work, due of my loneyness...
