Thats the problem, I already have.. But... due to game limits, you can only have 3 track mods in the game at once, inless i am missing something. my plan was to just give the concrete , the wood and the passenger versions all the same name and you can use the one you wanted by just dropping it into the objdata.

I think the 3 mod limit is right. By giving all 3 gves the user the option to use whichever 1 they prefer by dropping it into the objdat folder. I for 1 would do the concrete version and just keep the others handy to spice things up.

I do like the new installer, even tho' it seems I've had small problems when 1st released. Was a mere matter of a small glitch for hang time.

Will the full version have all the options the installer shows? CSX ?? Just curious.

BTW I think the Geeps are fantastic.... the SD units are nice for the hard grades in mountains but the game never seems to allow nice looking long hard grades.

there was a casual mention that we would recive some stuff including some of the CSX stuff, now it is just a waiting game to see.

It would be nice to see the entire Dekosoft fleet with all the freight they have in our games.

as far as the newer installer. my biggest problem/gripe is the auto launching of the web portion if you have more sets then one to install, i could put up a traditional checkbox page with a "launch web installer" button on it, but that might be more confusing...

I am still debating putting a desktop shortcut... i can add a checkbox or a pop-up asking..

With your track record of good to great read-me files I wouldn't be too concerned. I was able to figure out what to do with the hang problem because I do infact read them files. I think the option button would be the way to go. Every install program of yours I've used has the built into installer explaination and the read-me files. The only confused people would be that are to lazy or to dumb to follow directions provided.

Too bad about the remainder of the dekosoft stock. Hopefully patience will be a virtue in the case also.

Finally had a chance to install today. Work has been hell. I got to play around with the one sided station. Not sure about it so far but I will try it out. Is the construction tool just for eye candy. I like it I just wanted it to move. Looks great so far. Thanks

Kevin

The construction tool, I believe is partly eye candy, but mostly functional. The one sided station you use here is a track mod (like overhead wires or 3rd rail, etc). These items only become available when you have a vehicle which requires them. Hence, if you want to place your one sided station, you need a vehicle in your current game which requires it so that it becomes available.

The construction tool is (as far as I've seen in the pack) the only vehicle which requires the one sided station to place it. If you didn't have the construction tool in your scenario, the one sided station would never become available, as there is no vehicle in the scenario which requires it to run. That, ultimately is the purpose of the construction tool. If you don't have it in your scenario, you can't place single sided stations (a hint for if you make a scenario at a later date and want one sided stations in it - make sure you select the construction tool as one of the vehicles for the scenario).

As for my comment about being partly eye candy... the vehicle could have been anything and taken any shape, as long as it needed the single sided station.

actually the construction tool was in the last pack as a load on a flatcar..

but it agree, it does look nice.

just build a station anywhere and have one vehicle "unload" and another vehicle "load" to get it.

This pack rules. When you've heard the sound update, you'll never want to go back to LoMo default.

Errr.. slight update already. i failed to test the new tracksound with trams...

Ver 1.0.1 is out...

EDIT* I forgot to mention; if you installed 1.0.0, installing 1.0.1 patches your lomo back and fixes the sound bugs.

Hmm, I love Gulpener Dortmunder more or Forst Pilsener. Is somewhere a train to be found with crates of those brands ???

LoL

Slight update to 1.0.2.

Fixes:
There was a minor bug upgrading from 0.9.6 to 1.0.0 to 1.0.1
1.0.2 updates the set to long filenames.
fixes Provo map sound bug.

I have had the set offline all weekend. I am surprised no one noticed.
