OK, here's the current version, with GRF. I'm not satisfied yet with the diagonals (and, yes, I know the pantographs are too low in them), but as I've been experimenting with the coding a bit, it might be good to have it tested :-)

The X40 is automatically double headed, you can add any passenger wagon, and it will get the right livery. I haven't a clue how to make it cost the right amount, though - as all the wagons are motorized they should be much more expensive than a plain passenger wagon. Any good GRF/NFO I should look at to learn?

And another question: How would I do (where should I read) to make the pantographs appear randomly on the first or the last wagon when buying a new consist? And stay there for the life of the consist. (Yes, I know that means I have to draw a lot more sprites, but I want to experiment!)

Actually, even more important: How do I get the pantographs (the A-sprite) to show in the vehicle list? For some reason I only get the B sprite there?

(The cost of the Yo1 is adjusted too)

Price is set statically a per-vehicle-type basis. If you want different prices, you must have different IDs. I have tried, but I have never found a decent way of getting prices to change depending on the intended future use of the vehicle.

Random action 2 type 83.

Cargo type FF in the action 3.

My favorite is the Rc6, but then I see A LOT of them daily outside my window. ;) (Ok, there's the X2000 and the "öresundståget" which I forgot the proper name for...)

This set have A LOT of potentional, though some stats seemed a bit off (such as passenger vans with 180 passengers? o_O Did they really have that capacity IRL?)

Which one(s)? TTD or OTTD? What I see in TTD is:

X9 - 24
X7 - 74
Y3 - 30
Yo1 - 46
X40 - 90
B8 - 78
A3 - 44
B6 -92
UbX7 - 94
Ub9 - 54
X9B - 46
UBY3 - 60
X40-P - 94

Any corrections to the stats are welcome, especially price and balance.

Oh, it's OTTD. I only thought it was a bit high compared to the wagons in TTD but I have no idea how much their capacity is IRL.

BTW, I just compared thoose numbers and they are right. And it's a bit strange but I can't find that 180 passenger van now. Must been my mind making it up then.

Keep up the good work.

A little update - some cargo loads have been 'finished'. Although, putting them side by side like this tells me that the wheels of the Mas (right column) have to be reworked (maybe the Gbs too)...

Nobody knows! As this 'set' doesn't have any plan, it's impossible to know if it's near completion :-) I just draw something when I want to relax for a while. Also, I'm no real coder (yet?), so there are probably things that need to be corrected in the .grf

I'll probably try to make a 'plan' sooner or later, especially as Michael Blunck has graciously sent me his collected stats for Scandinavian trains.

Only the future will know...

Ok. :)

It would be a shame if all this work would be for nothing, and with the Danish set coming along, it would be great to have the choice between the Norwegian, Danish and the Swedish set :D

The latest development, an old passenger wagon, old goods wagon and a first try of a Fiat MU. No .grf at the moment because I have screwed up the code for X40 - I know I had it working, but now... :-(

Update: Corrected wrong roof shading on the goods wagon, made the Fiat longer...

isn't that passenger car a tad bit too light/bright? looks good nonetheless, i like your way of spriting. t'is very clear.
