Hey people this isn't Serrbian rail set
(But my English isn't so good neither)
Purno wrote:IMO, the blue should be darker... it looks too cyan IMO.
Sometimes problem is there is no the same colour. When I paint my vehicles, I pick colour from photo, and then paint vehicle with similar colour from palette. But, when I need more darker tones for shading, I must use ligther tone. This is the reason why some colours of my vehicles differ from original colours. Maybe there is better way to choose colours?

Shouldn't Serbian only be written with one R ?

Well, Singaporekid's blue is better but IMO it might look even better when it's a bit darker than S-kid's blue.

But I know the problem :P

Well, the best colour to use is the company colour blue
I think there was something in nfo coding that can cancel the company colours
Edit: Added attatchment

hey, that one is beautiful, I like it.

And adding the "company blue" to the plaette would be nice; it raises variety!

Stop burying me with compliments :p
Edit: Added attatchment, maybe you can now

wel, I'm still waiting for the revised 423, but we can go without compliments, if you wish. Please note that the lights are too bright (again) - If you are fitting a 20 meters long vagon on 32 pixels, then you get that one pixel is aproximately 60 cm - and as far as I know the lamps are some 20-30 cm diameter at most - so the lamp is not the whole pixel, it's just part of the pixel... I think it would look more realistic if you used little darker grey instead of the bright white..

How about this then?
Yeah, I'll do the 423 sometime later, it's hard to recolour such detail

well.. I tried "something"

tender's lights darkened in / view
changed coal
and in one _ view, I tried to redraw the driving wheels - to somehow defatten them - since they are 2x3, but because of the red line.... it can't be done too well...

Of course, I wrote it isn't Serrbian rail set... :D
Colonel32 wrote:so, what do you want to hear? Singaporekid's version is 300% better....
Only 300%? :D Much, much more...

Well, people, this loco is great, espetially with Colonel's improvements (coal and wheels shading)... Welcome to team! :D I'm looking forward to see more locos! This set will be finished soon with all of you! :D

you know, Coyote, the thing I like about the US set is that they are a team - one does a thing, and the other takes a look at it and changes something about it, and the keep improving it - until it looks just awsome. Not all people have the talent to do thing on their own (excpt. Bunck guy & Zimmlock), but even these artists could use a small suggestion time to time - so me and Singaporekid are already forming a "steamer development team"
But feel free to edit our work, if you have an improvement in mind - we can discuss it, we can accept it or reject it, but that's teamwork. That's the way to move projects foreward...

....colonel goes off the soapbox :D

That's good to know :D I changed some things too in vehicles I drawn thanx to advices.

BTW, I found sometimes, somebody drawn "Pendolino" (but I can't remember who and when - that WH questions... :x ). This is part of this set too, if you help me where to find it?

a greenish version drawn by Purno and coded by Lakie is released in a single GRF
