All of you seem to be very talented in 3D modelling. Come to http://www.simtropolis.com/ if you have time left and model some buildings for Sim City 4 Rush Hour! :D
It's the largest custom building exchange for Sim City on the net.
Have a nice day 8)

looks nice, can you rotate the camara/render next time (view is kinda strange in my opinon)

the drain looks good but you have to make holes in the street behind it as well;)

but i like the progres

the master e: The drains and curbstones have made a big difference to the edging, is it gunna be glass along the top of the shelter area then? We really need to see the road graphics, or at least no the measuements along the edge, so that roads can be lined up to things like your bus station. The entire graphic would be mighty helfpul so that the same road texture/alignment can be used for the bus station. (Can you shirnk the image slightly next time!!....arrrr>

I got the inpression alltaken had done the roads, as there is 1 sample on his site, but am i mistaken, and do they need doing?

ZxBiohazardZx: If you look back at some of the reference images you used, theres ideas for what to do with the roof and fotn. They overhang for one.

George: Heres 8 renders... Let us no what alterations you want for the ones with the scoop thing down...

Still puzzles me why nearly everything on there...
(such as this: http://doug.mudpuddle.co.nz/gallery/mai ... f.jpg.html )
...is in half the scale of this...
http://doug.mudpuddle.co.nz/gallery/mai ... 1.png.html

The Road graphics on tehre are stunning, but one concenr is that there made for traffic driving on the left, so there will have to be another set of graphics for right hand driving players.

s*** looks good, but indeed i have some questions about scale (definantly on the airport pieces)

These are probably the types of railway crossing we will be needing for Temperate:

(I wonder if in Towns, four barriers could be implemented)

A railway crossing cant really be made until the raod and railway are done, and posted/submitted for all to use.

But because of the way things are drawn in OTTD, we will need the barriers and other "accessories" to be placed onto the hybrid tiles, so trains don't fly over the barriers/lights, as they would do.

Would the barrier which is futherst from you not be on the background sprite?

Yes the roof of the shelter area is supposed to be made out of glass, its just that im not very handy with textures and colours :P
And do you mean that i have to adjust the curbs to the roads we use in TTD? Can anyone post the pict of the original stop, and mabe we can see if there is or isnt a curb...

the master e: I was just complimenting your curbstone modelling, but then i went on to ramble about there being some comformaty with the road graphics, wich are yet to be posted here.

k :)
But i noticed that on this site there are a few pict of bridges and ofcourse there is some road attached to it. So is this the road well use with the new graphics or is the road stil WIP?

Its the road we will use I think, and it is also still WIP...

This keeps coming into my head, time and time again, But on this page (which i hadnt seen before, and is seriously awesum...is this quite new?) http://doug.mudpuddle.co.nz/gallery/mai ... y.jpg.html

The road peices are still half the scale of this http://doug.mudpuddle.co.nz/gallery/mai ... 1.png.html

Are the road bits on the first link all half the final most zoomed in scale?? Has Alltaken just put everything on there in half zoomed in scale, just to save space, or allow more to fit on a render?....Or am I mashed in the head, and missing the point? Last time i brought this up, I came to the conclusion that these graphics are half the size or the final, most zoomed in size....but im still not shore i understand this correctly.

The Squares on the floor are the key part of all the graphics, they dictate everything else...It is even more inportant to understand this, than the lighting set up, and unifying the textures....! Help!

No, because there can be road vehicles waiting behind it.
