The second one, the livestock car says it transports 25 tonnes of fruit. The first, I'm not so sure about but is that vehicle supposed to be electric?

This is what I hate about online translators.

I think he means there's something wrong with the sprite when you attach the wagons. Nothing looks wrong with it to me.

Hey I was wondering, could you add some trains from Australia? They have a few cool looking trains like the 2000 Class Railcar,
and also some high speed Metro Trains .Oh and could you add the Eurostar Class 373 Train if its not already in this wonderful set : )

I'm not drawing lately, but if someone wants to draw them, we'd need pictures.
Stats would be welcome too.

I'm not saying its necessarily enough, but we already have 2 Australian Diesel engines, A DMU and a high capacity EMU in the set :)

The alignment of that engine sprite does look a tiny bit off. For comparison, see how much of the track you can see under the cars. I think that's what he's getting at.

this is maybe a noob question of me but still:

i am new to 2cc and wanted to use this amazing set but wondered when started to play it:

examples:
the ICE 3 should cost 16.800 €/yr, but when build, it says only 2.400 €/yr in the vehicle details window
a ERT500 should cost 180.000 €/yr (why is this so much different to the ICE?), but afterwards it only states 4.800 €/yr .....

why is that? and why are the values so much different between ice and ert? i havent found one train with the running costs beeing as stated in the building window...

i play OTTD nightly r15325 and no other GRF and no parameter for 2cc

pls help

1st part of the q: The running costs stated in the purchase list is what the cost is when the train is moveing. When its standing still the running cost is "close to zero". If you build a piece of track, and start the engine, you will notice the running cost raises quite a bit.

2nd part of the q: Both of them engines can attach MU-wagons. But as you see in the ICE purchase window, does it say:"running cost is per 1 unit". So each attached unit wil add the same running cost to the total sum. i.e. a 4 unit will cost 16,800€*4 = 67,200€ per year. That is, head-wagon-wagon-head. With 10 unites (head-8xWagon-head) will cost 168,000 per year. Have a look at the different engines, and u will notice the same behavior on a lot of other MU-type trains.

Basicly, the ones that have wagons that add power, it will cost more to run with each attached wagon.

Hello,

first I want to say the I like this set very much.

And now some issue, it seems to me that for some directions the offset for vehicles is slightly off. At the first picture the overlap is over half a car and at the second picture is nearly not any. In comparsion some other sets have it set a bit differently and the animation of vehicles in curves looks smoother. See attached pictures.

well, i kind of know this, and i will most likely fix it at some point, but it's a huge task as there are thousands of sprites by now. I do have some means to do it in excel and such... Perhaps a weekend where I'm bored or hungover :)

You'll always have this effect in some sort, you can't remove it completely. You can reduce it, but that's a hell of a job. TBH, I wonder if it's important enough to spend a lot of time on it.

Thanks for the report though :) Keep on hunting the bugs :)

I know that this is only some "eye candy" and that it cannot be completely removed, but in 2cc set is this effect more noticeable (for example in comparison with db set) and I personaly find it slightly disconcerting.

well, i know that myself, and the next release will most likely contain YaRA (yet another realigning attempt) as well as fixing some slight almost not noticeable bugs :)

Amazing trainset this is :) . Good variety of trains. I found some small errors that I have not seen before in this thread, the short gondola drops down a bit when it is filled with wood in the NW direction and the empty gondolas have a white line above them in then when facing north. Using Openttd r15418 and the 28 december 2cc set release. Hope this helps

Argh... the real name of the train is actually "ETR500" (not ERT500)...
