That's not been my experience. Here they will badger you to death if you've not paid your bill yet. Every menu prompt reminds you that you're not paid up and customer service will remind you several times before helping you. :/

Cleaning out my cupboard, I found one of the very first floppy disks I had for my first computer. This disk must be 24 years old now, and is probably totally unreadable even if you had a suitable disk drive!

I always had serious doubts about those 5 1/4 floppies. Never had a problem with my cassette tapes.

I don't know, those cassette tapes never sat well with me. Always liked my punch cards.

Yeah like you're not jealous that I can load a 48K program in under 25 minutes.

Nah, ink and paper can be read centuries after they're written/drawn. XD

Unless it's written by a doctor.

Other doctors can read them (they're shorthand right ?)

My handwriting is similar to that of a doctor, tbh sometimes I can't read after myself. Can't make that up.

Today my fiancé accepted a job offer from the same workplace my mother works at. As in, they will become colleagues.

Not sure how I feel about this. It's a great position, and a financially solid offer, but.. you know... gossip at the lunch table. :P

I can't think of a reason why I ended up here again.

The rankings are based off your post count. To become a "Traffic Manager", you would need 128 posts. This is directly related to the TTD Company rating system, so you would need 960 posts before you reach the top rank of "Tycoon".

I'd rather you edit your post than create a new one, Pacific RailRoad. I've taken the liberty of editing this for you this time. :)

London saw an odd spate of crime yesterday.

Seven stabbings;
one in Walthamstow, one in Poplar, two in Mile End, one in Newham, one in Ealing Broadway and one in Herne Hill.

Six of those stabbings occured within 90 minutes of each other, all in the evening. The incident in Walthamstow being the exception, it occured around mid day.

an odd spike of crime, some of the incidents above were fatal. Adding to the already higher than average murder rate and crime rate in London so far.

It's what moderators are for

Also, this forum is rather lax for editing - as long as no-one posted beneath you, you can edit and delete; until a few weeks (or one ?) after someone posted after yours, you can edit. Other than that you can ask by reporting or just make a new post.

So please, do kindly avoid double-posting.
