As this person didn't have an account, it was hard to know if it was someone from here or if it was someone who just wanted to cause trouble. So I thought it was best to ask about it first.

That may have been me...sorry...i messaged born acorn (on some asumption that he new about the site), but i was...am still tring just to stick 1 link at the top of all the sub sections taking you to the editable pages.... (requested by off the rails) I dont have an account...so highly lightly it was me.. but yeah...if someone else could try to do it that would be cool. Do i loose a brownie point?
Aracirion: Thats cool, now where do we upload the files to, or is there not one single place?

Why not just use this page?
http://wiki.openttd.org/index.php/GFXDev:Main_Page
I like the idea, but it doesn't look very good, it ruins the contents table, for exampel.

Just think it would be easier if the title of the sections in the new grpahics page took you straight there... but i cant do it...so if no one else wants it...meh
Yes it looked terrible, so i emailed born acorn to see if someone who new what they were doing could sort it out...

Seconded
Wiki wrote:Enhanced GFX replacement - This page is a compilation of the following sub sections

Im awair its a compilation of the following sub sections, hence i tried putting a link on the top of the sub section, hopeing it would then appear in the enhanced gfx replacement page....
The only reason i left it there, is because i was hopeing i could sort it today...it was soon to be sorted hopefully..
Is it really that bad?....Shall I go castrate myself to show my remorse? I just felt it would be easier to link straight to the pages the 'Enhanced GFX replacement' page is referenceing, and evendently so did off the rails, so i tried to do something and failed...big deal..man. Ease up, noone got nuked.

If we can get it to look like this:
Industrial Buildings (Link)
Then I am all for it, but the link is just too long.

Well my aim, which was far from my reach, was to just make the title at the top link to itself... so initially i just typed 'industrial buildins (link)'...i looked at many other pages, but couldnt figure it out...i do pictures not letters.

Thanks for your comments. Here is are my country houses with a wall two tress and two bushes. But i don’t like the trees in the north and in the west. Do you know a good tutorial to model trees?

Very nice! I also like the trees
I would just suggest transparent ground so it can be used in arctic aswell.

The houses are great! It reminds me of something though: we should all do the trees the same way!! I for my part used
lsystem, I wouldn't mind another solution though.

It would be interesting to know how Dylan made the trees on the wiki. But I guess we also need to know how to create more kinds of trees than that.

I noticed in the 32 bit gfx table in the wiki that the new watertower is more for water distribution to taller buildings than for storing water so i did a quick model of a tower that is for storing water

It looks a lot more like the original, but Crazy Vaclav already made a water tower, and all water towers do the same thing.

No harm in having 2 water towers.

Meush and Crazy: I come with a peace offering....
This building is mighty strange...but ive modeeled it to be like the origianl at present... To Justify its instabilty; round the back is 1 solid main section on wich all the containment blocks connect two, and in reality i see it as a designers attempt to show the stresses on a sterdy structure...so i made the base to look quite solid in contrast.
It would be easy now to remove/move some of the sections around to make it way more stable...but different people would maybe prefer it differently, with alikeness to the original not being as inportant to some.
So...feedback on this one is really needed, to deside what to do to this excentric composition...

According to
http://www.chrissawyer.com its based on a real building, probably in Glasgow (where he lives)
I can't find any photos of it, so It must have been one of those reference books ones.
Anyway, great work. The more original buildings that can be faithfully replaced, the game will stay true to its originality.
