You could try using waypoint penalty rules.
You can build much more flexible and better layouts with it I discovered.
Only needed to group trains, or have other characteristics how you seperate them.

You can do a lot of things once you get the hang of them.
Also it keeps your Orders a lot nicer and it's easier to change tracks when you have many trains.

Hey, first of all, great patchpack. I have recently compiled it but cannot find the copypaste menu in-game. Has it been removed?

here coypaste works by hotkeys ctrl+c ctrl+v, no monstrous GUI needed

That in itself doesn't change very much for patchpacks (like this one) that used CDist already.

Thank you very much, Vaulter for keeping your Pack up to date!
It's always been and is a real pleasure being able to play with your choice of patches.

I would like to kindly request a win32 binary of this patch since i once again messed up my compiling environment.

Is it possible to provide this patch pack in original font form and 64bit?

you can just adjust you settings in openttd.cfg
you can merge <game>/openttd.cfg and <home>/openttd.cfg, remove <game>/openttd.cfg and play with your global settings and NewGRFs

as for 64bit - have no possibilities right now

Compare values in your old config and in this PP config for those params:

Code: Select all

[misc]
small_aa =
medium_aa =
large_aa =
mono_aa =

small_size =
medium_size =
large_size =
mono_size =

small_font =
medium_font =
large_font =
mono_font =

the game chooses a system font over the builtin font, if it finds that some characters are missing. if you're using a translated language, try switching to english and compare.

you can also put a font name (e.g. "arial bold") in the above settings which might look more similar to the builtin font than the one OpenTTD automatically chooses (the detection is not very good)
