I got another question about this scenerio. The first time I played it before Zimmlock posted the screenies, I was playing it and I was able to build more industries. Namely an Ironore mine near westfield. I also had 12 or 15 choices of what I wanted to build. Now, there are only 5, a Factory, Food processing plant, Oil refinery, Paper mill, ad Steel mill. This is like this in other games now too.
So I'm wondering, did I do something to cause this? Is there a setting somewhere that makes Lomo do this?
Thanks...

there is a founding industry mod for regular and low price you can build in the game. i downloaded it a long time ago, and have no idea where it is available at anymore or if it is? but that is how i play, i build industries as i lay track.

Actually, I just figured it out. That's what I had in there and when I reinstalled The Serpent trying to figure out how to get the missing buildings in the game, I didn't put them back in. They're called "founding_industies_lowcost" and Loewe13 made them. I use them all the time too. Thanks BB for reminding me...

Missing files - The Serpent scenario
Posted: 14 Oct 2009 11:57
by RideTheRocket
Hi Everyone,
I have a problem. I can't open the Serpent scenario. It tells me that there is a missing file called USWH3BCR. That file belongs to the LDT1 Conrail Alcos pack. I searched for it at the LDT1 folder... and unfortunately, I didn't find it. Where can I get this file?
Assuming that this is the only missing file...
Your advices would help, cheers Mark.

I'm currently installing all the mods onto my clean install. It took a long time to source all those mods.
Just to check: In regards to London and Port Stanley Pack, AMI refers to 1.5, whereas the readme says 2.0 . I assume you mean the same?

no they are not the same. The installer notes say 1.5 or 2.0. Last I looked, 2.0 was waiting on permissions.
And an installer.......

Installed all packs as directions say, onto a totally unmodded CLEAN install.
I open Locomotion and Start "The Serpent"
It reports "SNDACLHO" as Missing.
A search on the forums returns nothing but this post. Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.

well, I can tell you where it is in my hive:

- SNDACLHO.jpg (5.12 KiB) Viewed 2906 times
and I
would assume assume that it comes from potentially that easter egg BHP AC6000 but when searching Plastik's database for "HLO" I got the following:

- HLO.jpg (6.92 KiB) Viewed 2906 times
So I'm no expert, but just some possibilities.

I got that fixed, and just copied all the files from the sounds folder of the hive to my Objdata (as I got more errors). But now I have another problem: SND103EN . I did a search on my computer and it returns nothing....
Edit: Doing a search on the forum, someone posted this as missing on page two

.
I've now done a total machine search, including all hard drives etc. This SND103EN is not findable. On page two they posted it as the sounds of E33 and E44, and that it should of been in the megapack. To my knowledge, it isn't - how do I obtain this file?

Hello, and welcome to TT-forums!
I personally have not tried this scenario, but user modifications can be a massive problem with locomotion scenarios, because in the scenario file it asks for all the files used in that scenario. so if you don't have the files the scenario asks for, you can't open it, full stop.
the scenario listed in this thread has an installer that I don't know what does.
trains, buldings, bridges, trees, etc are generally in the form "*insert name here*.dat" and these need to go in "C:/program files/atari/locomotion/ObjData" <- this is the default location, you might have yours installed somewhere else and scenarios and landscapes are of the form "*insert name here*.SC5" to work these must go in "C:/program files/atari/locomotion/scenarios" (yet again only the default).
there are at least 6 or so (maybe more) things that need to be installed before this scenario can run.
I will now attempt to link to them (these should be done in order):
number 1
number 2
number 3
number 4
number 5
number 6
best of luck, and yet again welcome.
Should you require anymore assistance, please PM me or post back here again, I'd love help you
any of you experienced folk around here who have noticed I've done or said something wrong, please yell, scream, and throw your dirty laundry at me

...And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this Thy USB Stick that with it Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits, in Thy mercy." And the Lord did grin and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats and large chu... ... And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceedest on to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy HolyUSB Stick of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it." Amen.
