Re: roest's patch pack v9 (r13019)
Anyone willing to make one for the Mac? But wait till the tree growth patch is in it. Really a big thank you for anyone who does do it. Doesn't matter about the bugs/desync or whatever. Just want to have a version to play it on the Mac.
Any dream worth having,

Update to r13434 with Disable Tree Growth Setting, at the original post.
I may implement/fix/tweak/eat/ditch it soon (or in distant future, if at all, so don't hold your breath).
If anyone want to be the one please implement it for us all

Do you have any plans to rework Pax Dest. into your updated version of the patch?
EDIT:
Also, I noticed that currency displays with a '?' infront of it for some reason....

hmm ... I found the problem. VS2005 just don't like to treat string literals as UTF-8 encoded, insist converting it with my current locale settings, therefore screwing namegen.h and currency.cpp ...
I'll look into this problem

On r13019, the oppunents built only airports and nothing else. Thats very pity for such a good patch...

and if you have the new AI enabled they dont even do that!

The new AI is a road vehicle only AI, so if it isn't able to build raod vehicles, it can't build anything at all.dasy2k1 wrote:and if you have the new AI enabled they dont even do that!

Awesome patchpack you have here. Copypaste and distantstations are my favorite, although I am constantly finding new uses for the others.
Filter by cargo doesn't seem to work at all though. I'm running ECS and wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Hi there! I have two questions:
1 - Does this patch work with both 32 and 64 bits windows versions?
2 - Can i play a game in a 32 bit system, save it, and play it on a 64 bits machine and virse-versa?
Thanks all for the great community you have here.
Cheers!

This patch pack is quite outdated, so you might consider using a newer one (like Tib's pack). Generally, patches work for any system you can compile OpenTTD for.Mr_Burns wrote:Hi there! I have two questions:

And save games are portable across platforms, so yes you can save it on a 64-bit Ubuntu system and load in 32-bit Windows

However, using savegames between patched and un-patched versions may problematic. With unpatched nightly versions you can normally rely on newer trunk releases be able to load older nightlies and stable releases, but not the other way round.
