I'm sure we don't really need proof of your age, but it's more of a 'be mature' rule, and also it's basically that we're not going to cover your back if you're too young to buy a beer or some other alcoholic substance.

So I'm hoping someone will soon decide on a date so that I can plan around it, if possible.

And if I can't make it I'll just host a much cooler GoneWacko's Invite Only Meet with chicks and booze and totally cool custom made fedoras!

Hmm, only for that reason I'll make sure that you wont be able to come to the meeting, I want a custom fedora too!

But it seems like we'll be having it Utrecht during a week day. I guess the first week is kind of offlimits as it is Sneek Week then and I'll be drinking booze and do some partying in Sneek.
I think it would be best to put it in the second week of August so GW can come too (possibly).

The number of people depends on the amount of subscriptions, which will be more than last year I hope. Note that not everyone who said that he/she would come actually shows up.
And we will probably have dutch people only, although Toni might start speaking german as he lives in Germany. But OTOH, I might do so too if I get enough beer

Meh, languages shouldn't be a problem when drunk. Dutch, German, English and Japanese will do... Maybe even a little French.

Looking forward to it! Let's put down a date so I can write it down in my agenda (Dutch style! As in Germany not many people use their agendas).

Well andel, it would be nice if you could come. We should promote internationality on this forum a bit more!

I suggest that people start suggesting dates to hold the meeting on, and then we'll have either a manual count of the most popular date or I'll throw them in a poll. Please remind that it is prefered to be a weekday in august.

Remember that one time when we had a Dutch meet and we purposefully scheduled it so that Owen couldn't be there?

Well, its tempting to say the least... I'll consider it - try and pick it to be a date not co-inciding with the UK meet though please!

I'm pretty sure that was not accidental either;
I for one knew nothing of this meet, and I'll bet you sacrificed yourself to finish those two crates of beer anyway...

As for Andel: I'm pretty sure it has been established that the meet does not coincide with the meet in London; I'm hoping to attend both meetings, so unless you people hate me even more than I think you do, it shouldn't be a problem.

Quite. Which meant I had to meet XeryusTC and Hyronymus separately! Ah well, maybe I'll make it to one of your meets some other time. Except the not-speaking-Dutch thing may be a pain if everybody else does.

Whoever is the most in charge can just pick a date, I think.
As long as it's in the second week (or first or third depending on how you count and how I schedule my holiday) I'm happy
