Thonhorst Airport, or rather Cuxhaven Airport, that't what it should be called.
With the recent update of the small regional railway's rolling stock to BR420, the mail services along the line has been replaced by road haulage.
the highway passing by the Airport is becoming increasingly busy, as more and more goods are hauled around, too.

Hmm, why are you using the the North American roadset on the bridges and TTRS roads everywhere else?

that's a very good question. I dont think there is a TTRS version of the TBRS, is there? it still looks better then the original roads, though, i think.

A before and after shot of another game I have ongoing:
1. The valley near Kassel in the Year 1974. As you can see, there is not much going on here. A sawmill near Hershaven served by a small railway line. To the bottom right of the shot, the trainstation of Eichenberg which see a bi-hourly train service from Kassel and some local trains. All in all, a rather quiet area, despite the near city of Kassel.
2. In 1981, the Motorway Bremen - Kassel was completed. From that time on, the valley was no longer quiet. The motorway was quickly filled with goods trucks, the Mail services, so far handled by the local trains has been moved to road service as well and some of the wood is now also transported by truck to an addiational sawmill.
3. In 1985, almost the whole area is built up. The Motorway has brought a tremendous building boom to the area. Some new bus lines are serving the area. Needless to say that traffic on the Motorway itself has increased yet again.

seams that I have now also reached the limits of what my laptop CPU is capable of supporting in terms of OTTD with full cargodest and timetable management.
Well, I have almost 500 trains, although some of them stabled in the depots, and over 1200 RVs running.
