sorry, my english is not so good.
Put a small garden in it (south-east) and maybe a fence?

@Shampy, i like that one too. But the only thing we do here now is to convert the old graphics to the new ones. So we first have to make everything how it is now (like my other bus-stop) Before making some new stuff.
Im still looking for some textures like glass and concrete. Can anyone help me?

Ben_Robbins_ wrote:BerberJesus: Thats a quality building/s youve made. Really Nice. It looks extreamly attractive, and posible too attractive. Could there be some junk/flowerbeds/bins/piles of things etc scattered about?
All: Just wondering, With all these new graphics being more zoomed in, its going to be very apparent when roads/driveways go to nowhere. If all buildings have there road exits made to line up, and graphically match roads, then some programing could enshore roads connect to a 'buildings square' roads...Would look nice then.
richk67: The sides of that airfix depot aint to far off the origianl graphics, i recon they would look pretty cool. The Diesel Maint Depot would be good to replace the monorail depot. Not to keen on the other engine shed though. A little bland i recon. I recon (Biohazard) you should check that airfix thing out, and incorperate that in.
checked it and trying to fix the "roof upward thingy"

thx lamoot its kinda what i looked for, this will do for the e-rails depot siding (im thinking of multiple depots: brick one (for steam+old diesels)
concrete one (for the later diesels and first electrics)
steel/glass/new material one (for the monorail and the maglev depot

There are plans for a library, but nothing concrete...

Someone said quite a while ago (15+ pages back <49-50>), about the wiki texture site, but its empty, but ive been making textures since then. Ones like the default grass, water, tarmack etc should be stuck somewhere for all with urgency i recon, to have conformaty from the start.

That looks like the original Great job. My only suggestion is to make the Main, larger roof the same angle as that new small roof on the top. It may be it look more "real"

I would suggest you use the standard light setup posted in the sticky thread.

I must definitely agree here. I would even recomend something like common material library. I mean, look at all the models here or in the wiki - they are all great and good-looking but of no use if we don't standardize things like materials and textures.

windows, doors (for people, not trains), spare parts (outside and inside), maybe a little shed against the outer wall?
And the traindoors are a little bit too thick imho.

Just Take the biggest smooth plains and break them up with windows/tiles/overhangs(roof)/planks etc. For little things, just think how an object would work...i.e. the door would need a lock, hinges, windows in it etc.

Here's a little sample of a station I've been working on. All the details aren't there and it's not as tileable as it needs to be, but still, it's a start.
On a sidenote, when the material library is started, in addition to actual materials, we also need a set of standard lamps for things like underpasses. There is a faint (too faint?) orange light in this underpass if you look closely, this is what I mean.
P.S. The little voices in my head made me also do a little
animation of the station in action , it's ~311 kb and you need xvid codec.

i like it, but seem more like a monorail style station than railroad style

That is Swwwweet!.. that is awesum watching it in motion...quality. I need to see more stuff in action, and mock up sets. There really motivating.
This texture bank/collection thing and putting frequently needed parts like lamposts/walls/floorings etc. Really should be started. Cause theres a great range of different styles at the moment...
Also some stuff i know is done, but cant get/find acsess to the models/textures etc, such as the track peices and ground tiles. Are Maglev rails yet to be done, and monorail?
Im gunna get down to doing a train now i think.
