Seeing as the thread has been dug...

It would be nice to have an Australian train set available. Of course it would also be nice to have a pony.

For what it's worth, although the FIRS industry set is not country-specific, I've had Australia in mind a few times when designing the set, particularly sheep farms and sugar cane...in a bizarre and fun twist from OzTrans and DanMacK, CanSet will gain vehicle support for FIRS sugar cane.

I've also been looking at PowerTrans mining trucks for inclusion in HEQS. I don't know if they'll appear in HEQS, but an Australian truckset might be fun...one day.

My answer: I think we have enough industries already, but you could do an addon. Although mostly undocumented, FIRS has an addon framework.

As an Australian I'll add that in Australia we don't actually farm Kangaroos. In fact, they're considered pests to farmers. We do however farm Crocodiles.

I try Ausset and NSW scenario but there are no new grass tiles

Um, I know there isn't much much I remember downloading a test grf a while back and I can't find the link. I wanna play a aussie map and I'd love to play with the test grf (mainly for the alco centries)

An Australian - although mainly NSW - taster set was released way back for TTPatch, but it used to work OK with Openttd - I havent used it recently but keep meaning to again as there are sufficient vehicles to make an enjoyable game. I cant remember where you can download it so here it is with the txt file.

Contact the individual artists for permission. However, you may not use my art in any set, simply because most of the stuff on the net are hideously outdated.
