Broodje, don't let your academic skills or your social life be deprived of attention because this NS set. There are more important things in life than an old game that could use some enhancement, aren't there?

I want to do it too, but i saw something with "blocks"to create sprites
So if you know what program it is, i'd be glad to do it (i need to try first if i can do it, but my feeling sayas a 89% ;))

sory but I dont understand what you meen. You want to create content for ttd? In that case you need the grf codec to decode the grf files first http://www.ttdpatch.net . I use I-mage to create the trains, other painting software might work aswell as long as it suports pcx pallets.

Is it possible to include Dutch brake vans for the end of early freight trains? I don't speak Dutch so it's hard for me to find images, but I did find some models of German brake vans which might be similar. Here's the thread:

Nice idea, I won't reject it but I rather hear from the graphic's side too.

i need a "base-unit" first, then i can begin to skin.

I would think you could use the standard goods van as a base. It seems about the right size and shape.

ehm well ehm no , I'm a bit busy lately with all kinds of other things, I just had my first free weekend in a long time. I might do some work on it again in the vacation, but I don't have to much time till then :(.

aarg I had to scrol down for the dutch trains topic, how could that ever happen?

Anyway hyronymus made me pixel again, and becouse dinges had a busy week I had to learn some nfo skills (ass the chatters might have noticed  ) . But here is the latest creation of me. It isnt finished yet, becouse I'm not that good with the nfo file. The train still lacks a train end. the roofs goes on till the ground atm :). Anyway I also changed some things on plan-T but again I lack some nfo skills so there are no backlights yet for that set, but it has powered cars now (only on the right version of the patch). So to be short, when I master the nfo a bit more I'll release planT aswell as the ic-set.

anyway tell me what you think of it

I believe I called it bit lower or something. (yep I'm lazy)

A nice start anyway.

Say, where's the "steam coming out" of the topic title?

Posted: 15 Dec 2003 09:56
by broodje

/edit

We don't know yet. I hope that's something you can live with  .

hmm I like spamming this topic with pics so here is another pic :)

I think the dutchies might know this train (unless you live somewhere in friesland or so  ) any way you can see where it goes wrong in ttd, the scale for the double deckers is way of compared to the ic train and mat 64. I'm not sure how to handle this, especialy becouse I like this train a lot so it should be included in a dutch trainset. I can make it higher, but then the length is ridicules (well it is already). so do you bother having an of-scale train or not?
