Random events appear like a huge problem, indeed. I suppose that they are based on a predictible sequence of numbers. The data used to calculate these sequences is called the seed number - probably generated according to the system clock. Perhaps it is possible to track down this variable during the gameplay, while making sure that everybody playing the scenario receives the same events at the same time.

This should work, unless the player decides to construct a road where the factory is yet to come, thus radically changing the future without actually being aware of it. Would you define this as luck :?:

I think there is no way to forbid some things, there is only way to do these things hard to do.

Well, one way around the random industries is to fill it with a lot of industries (I know, that make things a bit easier) and then use a staeady economy with steadyindustries switch. That way, we know that all the primary industries will stay around the whole game for everyone. Again, maybe this makes it too easy, but at least it'll be easy across the board.

Of course, the perfect solution would've been a big multiplayer game (but then, the chances of getting everyone online at the the same time for a couple of days, would be unlikely)...

Well, we have had time to improve the beta patch and the league seems to be a bit stoped...

I think with the BobXP's app, the G4S's TTD Savegame Examiner and the orudge checker we can have a security way to make the league with a good web page... so...

no, we need someone more experienced, like Bart or Tokky, Your'e a good artist, but I don't think you have the whole web design thing down yet. (don't be insulted, as the best thing I can draw is a truck...

btw savegamerepositry can do that, but dont have RSS output and there is no source code how it doing that ):

Owen created a first version of Tournament site ... after uploading savegame it the page is automatically displaying what cht was used and some other usefull info
