Can we have a Trailer which is able to carry more than the amount than the other Trucks? Like the Goods = Capacity to 100 tons?
It is kinda cool see it in action, but after knowing how much it can carry it. The trailer is just the same as the rest of the Vehicles in the game.
Thank you...

Thank you...
download loco tool frontend you can change the cargo amounts to whatever you like
http://www.locomotion-fanpage.net/forum ... hp?fid=523
i think one of the 2 downloads for this has heavier cargo weights but frontend is your best bet
any problems with using it read here
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... t=frontend
i had a problem with required files missing on my computer.
The answer was already there in the forum so read before asking
its a great program that i use all the time

i did not know they make tanker containers that big. i have only seen the 40 foot versions in the US. they are so heavy as 40 foot they need special handling!

those are 40ft
In Europe semi trailers are 45ft long not 56ft long so a 40ft tanker looks pretty much the same size as a normal trailer
I guess that tanker containers looks small compared to normal trailers over there as they are 16 foot shorter
weird thing is although your trucks are bigger as are the trailers, AFAIK the maximum weight for a semi truck is 36 ton in the US but here in the UK its 44 ton so most of those 40ft tankers are normal road loads
Doesn't sound much like logic but in reality with so little space the extra weight means less trucks so thats the real reason. Makes a mess of the roads though. In some places on the motorway i can let go of the wheel and the tram lines are so deep they will steer me round shallow bends
PS i never moved my hands far from the wheel and i only did this a couple of times anyway so don't panic if you have to share a road with my truck

ahh ok
although my reply is essentially the same
i am surprised that 20ft container tankers are special handling (heavy haulage as we say here) but the given the size of us trucks and the relatively low gross weight maybe i shouldn't be
still wish my sleeper cab were as big though

I hope you don't mind me asking but are you going to do the trucks i requested
I only ask so that if not i can post a request for them
with so many great trucks it has wet my appetite and it would be great to have some British 8 wheelers with trailers
that and road trains would really make my game complete
Danke schön Mayday für diese sehr gut Sattelzug
(please excuse really bad German

)
I think i said thankyou mayday for these very good articulated trucks
but i may have asked for directions to a brothel as my german is very bad

I think I still do heavy load of saddle tractor and the suitable semitrailers for 40-60 tons. Have, however, at the moment little time

I have downloaded the file to my game and extracted it to the Obj Data file per the instructions but the trucks are not showing up in my menu under a new Scenario...what do I need to correct? Also the regs for American trucks do vary depending on the load or cargo that is being shipped. I have see trucks over here hawling loads up to 50 tons escpecially in the case of quarry vehicles and heavy eqiupment transports...I think it is more of a degree of what they are shipping that pertains to how much can be shipped or loaded...usually HAZMAT stuff is very regulated and they can only carry so much and actually have to us specific routes to keep the stuff away from certain areas of cities and stuff like that.

If I am right, there are 5 folder , one with the truck , and some for each type of trailer .... maybe you extract only the archive and pushed it in the objdata-folder .... look at this !

I wish that were the case, but no...when I opened the "zip" file I extracted the files for each of the trailors and the truck models into the game and they are not showing up. Has there been a glitch of some kind? Or do I need to have something else downloaded with these items?

dont extract them with the folders they come in , u need them all in the OBJData folder with no folders.

Yeah...that's what I did...went into to each file and extracted the doc to the Objdata file in the game...eh...I'm not going to worry about it...probably has something to do with the American version or some junk like that.
